This is great! Based on your model I made my own but I have a question: Store Ionizers use a Silver rod too.... is it really necessary? or just the copper rods. Also, does the separation of the rods matter? and does the voltage of the charge matter? Thank you!!

I suspect you only need a single copper pipe for the anode, and the cathode can be any conductive metal. Stainless is good since it is pretty easy to clean off.

I had a similiar problem on my 2005 wrangler. When oil was up to temperature pressure would drop to 0 when stopped at a redlight, around 700 rpm. Changed the sending unit and the problem was solved. I was not able to use a socket to remove the OEM unit. The socket hit the cab of the jeep.I used channelocks from the top (1 1/16 was to big and 1" was to small). Replaced with new aftermarket unit using 1 1/16 box end wrench from the topside.

I just changed mine, All I had to do was swing the dist cap out of the way & I was able to slide the socket right on with 12in exstension

I have a problem with my tj 04, I changed the oil sender and doesnt work, when I connect the wire with a resistor to ground my gauge works, but if I just conect the wire to ground it doesnt work..
