Hi! Im Svetlana, a Russian trans girl (she/her) and Marxist-Leninist, who makes videos related to Socialism and politics in general. I tend to explain my opinions on situations and explain political theories as well.
The case against reformism
This video is a (not to great tbh) case against reformism, its parties, and the idea of reforming a society to achieve socialism. I mostly just talk about past experiments of how they failed to achieve socialism via reforms as they were not extreme enough.

Written in 1878, this song is a Marxist funeral march. It was used as a funeral march for many Russian revolutionaries from different uprisings and leftist groups, including the Bolsheviks.

I think its useful when talking to liberals about "Dictatorship of the proletariat" to mention that the word "Dictatorship" just refers to who controls society; that "Dictatorship of the proletariat" is just control of society by the working class as opposed to what currently exists under the capitalist mode of production; control of society by the capitalist class.

I will state, I am not a socialist. I am a centrist capitalist, but I say this because I believe many of those in each view of life want to best for themselves and those around them. The universal struggle represented here and made manifest through a motivational and beautiful song is appreciated, seen, and I wish the best for all. I guess it will be *a* *fcuking* *good* idea to add a subtitles on english(at least) and on native lang of the song itself in such videos. Also, Germanic version of the song is sexiest, especially their music, who hitting me not neither in eyebrow or eye, but in the center of my heart itself.

the true tragedy about this song and similar pieces: socialists and communists do not care about freedom or rights. No. All they truely care about is using the poor masses, the oppressed workers, to become the new nobility. As soon as they reach that goal, they act worse than any absolutist monarch in history. Examples? Lenin, Stalin, Mao, the Kims, Pol Pot, etc pp. There is not a single one example of a communist/socialist rule that does not end in bloody oppression. So the workers sing for freedom and the end of oppression, just to be shackled and oppressed by their new communist overlords.
This was a problem of material conditions. In Russia socalism came about through beaurocrats bratty children who led a successful revolution and culled all opposition from left and right. After securing their new state they supported "revolutionarys" who used their twisted form of socalism. This is the reason why all past "communist" states were authoritarian. TLDR: you cannot have a workers revolution spearheaded by a select few. Power must be delegated amongst the masses.
