I am blessed to be born in 1962. Grew up around all Reggae Motown drunk & stOned parents in the UK. What a free & funky childhood with no rules except come home when the street lights come on. This is one of my favourite early memories of dancing at a block party with all my neighbours to this beautiful song :)

Wow, what a show I've seen many young people who definitely have the rhythm to the music, but I certainly remember when Desmond did this song I believe he wrote in 1969. He was simply amazing in, like with some of Jamaica reggae artists of the day women loved dancing to it, a fair few youngsters here in the UK. Some of my family are carribean, so it taken me many years to get to dance with the rhythm in the manner that other family members did at that time. Although they came from a different lsland its universally recognised, and British bands are trying to keep reggae up there. RIP bro your not forgotten, and the music continues even though the sadness your no longer here to enjoy Desmond . Thank you for your music.
