Great summary. I will definitely need to repaly the whole trilogy again, but unsure of whether I should wait for the remake or not. Also, I think the video cuts to black too early, something happened during editing or rendering.

I really hope that the Witcher 4 trailer is just a marketing stunt and they did not get it this wrong. 90% of players are male , lore fans would not mind playing as original Ciri who was cool elder blood child . Now playing as some sort of Ciri adopting masculine traits is plain stupid and I for once would not play the game .

I mean it would make sense to start from the point of view of the Guard but the problem is that newbies don't understand why the Guard is often more interesting than genetically modified super humans. Personally I would have wanted the show to start from the POV of a new guardsman who came from a planet similar to modern day Earth so people can relate with the shock someone from our time would experience being thrown into the greater 40k universe.

hive world based cop/arbites show perfect way to intropduce chaos, xenos, the imperium, inquisition, and later on even xenos invasions for the guard and astartes necromunda might be a good choice for that since its the imperial fists recruiting world macragge in the lead up to behemoths invasion too might work arbites/inquisitors/astartes working together to hunt down chaos and genestealer cults and ready the planet for the impending invasion we would see just how harsh and cruel they are and think theyre being evil and overdoing it then we see the unending numbers of nids and the monstrosities they bring, and all the genestealers that were missed rise up and newbies would see WHY they had to be so harsh!

Nah sorry but not for a first main stream serries. The astartes are and always will be the main attraction of the setting and they want as many eyeballs as possible. What youre suggesting is more of a spin off type show for later down the line.

I think I'd like to see a gene stealer infestation getting underway, much like that one animation they released a few years ago. Granted that was a single episode/one shot, but there's plenty of material in the black library to pull for I spiration.
