Here I show you how to make a System Log with on a vehicle equipped with a Holley EFI Dominator or HP ECU on an engine with a cam and crank sensor. I also show my approach and what I look for in a No Start situation. In the end this vehicle ended up needing a new Crankshaft Position Sensor.

I don't have the option to set up a system log on my terminator x max, am I doing something wrong?
i have the same problem ,no start i already replace crankshaft sensor ,holley customer service takes 2 hours to answer a call !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seth have you ever ran I to a problem we’re car cold start idles good and when it starts warming up it stalls out

Thanks Seth. Really appreciate this video. I have some stumbles and ERROR signal in the middle of finding sync so I suspect I will have to give system logging a go!

I have Tuned 30+ Holley HP and Dom. on Motorcycles and have had to use SL logging on a few of them that either wouldn't start or would "loose synch" after they started so I was curious to see what info was in this video... It's nice to see someone doing video to help people with Holley EFI but (no offence intended Seth) I agree with Scott that this was WAY too long just to "show how to do an SL Log" and then not even tell what the issue was in the video??? JFYI :) I always cycle the Ign off/on after changing Data Settings and I have never had an issue with them not logging properly... You can also leave it set for a 30-second (or longer) Log Time and simply turn the Ignition off after turning the motor over to end the Data Log ;) After Tuning my friends Busa Turbo on C16 then E85R he said it was my turn to Ride it at OSW Bike Bash :) :) :) ua-cam.com/video/gkCIZgpDKPg/v-deo.html
Thanks for the comment- I'm not offended at the criticism of the length of it because I can barely sit through it myself! You should have seen the 45 minute long video I made on updating a V3 Holley to V4 firmware and software! It was so ridiculously long (and that's after editing) that I never posted it. I met a couple other guys that are using the HP and Dom on Busa's bc of its amazing nitrous control- I think that's awesome! I've been trying to push some of my Supra customers to switch over too.
This no start turned out to be a crank sensor issue.

Scott- it's true that the SL won't diagnose the problem for you but it's a tool to point you in the right direction. Then a multimeter or more ideally a pocket oscilloscope will help you pinpoint the diagnosis.
what was the issue with the car? why didn't it have spark/rpm
Good intentions, but way too long to figure out how to do a System Log. Sat through 8 minutes and it didn't work... gave up because I need to figure out why this won't sync, not watch youtube for hours. thank you for trying though.
