First off...most churches don't teach...back when the tithe was set up , the church was the government, they took care of the needy and the community, i.e. taxes....tithe=10% , how much taxes do you pay? What you give to the church now is a love offering to keep the church going....to teach. Remember revalation ...God sent John to the future...(to reveal)...the seven churches , God wasn't pleased with 5 out of seven ....that means over 70% of churches God is not pleased with today...why? Because of their behavior and mainly what they did or didn't teach...up to you to decide wether you are in a church God is pleased with or not. God lists those specific churches from back then so you can look up to see what they were doing so you can understand what churches God is pleased with since then and including TODAY and the FUTURE ! Giving to a church is also supposed to be given in secret...passing a plate where everyone can see is not secret....it is just another way to guilt everyone. Another thing they fail to teach is that you have to take care of your needs first (food,clothing,housing,medication etc), if that takes every dime you have then God does not expect anything from you. 10% of zero is zero. Most scholars knows this and many have written about it but yet churches don't teach it because they want to guilt you into giving your money to them wether you can afford it or not. God will provide to those deserving . Churches using guilt for their gain is NOT God providing.

Of course, I did specifically mention that Episcopalian and Catholic churches would never do this. But Baptist? All the way. This is so untrue. Good loves a cheerful giver. I have never been demanded to give. Yes there are churches that are not on the up and up but that’s like judging one person by what someone else did. It’s between you and God what you give. No church can just take it out of your paycheck.

Even a group of black men looking to jump someone in a poverty motivated crime wouldn’t ideally target a lone white man due to the assumption of white people being higher social status, meaning they may have connections. “What if his family are lawyers”. But these groups of black men convince themselves the risk of this happening is far lower if they target another ethnic minority. Also, they put everything in the familiar "tu" context without explanation, AND to lure you newbies, they intentionally avoid the double "r" sound when presenting individual vocabulary lessons. It's not optional. Sorry, but learn to roll your tongue. It took me two months, but I did it. Because there's a difference between "but" and a dog. If you're someone who thinks they cannot roll their tongue, do this: watch 3-4 youtube tutorials, then walk around all day saying perro, restaurante, rojo, etc. Practice the words with the rr in the middle first. Talk out loud like this to yourself all day for a few days and you'll do it. Then continue each day until it's above 50%. It helps to have a job where you work alone and even better if you have no friends.

I've done Pimsleur (the old Gold version, on cd! And I'm using them again right now. Lol.) up to the first half of Spanish III. I'm annoyed that I have to deal with Sesame Street style lessons on duolingo because my vocab isn't the greatest. I don't play online games or video games and hate tech, so the whole "hearts" thing is not an incentive for me - all those bells and whistles actually annoy me because I find them confusing. I just want to do straightforward frickin' learning. What I noticed though was that I was aceing everything with super duolingo - zero mistakes. But on the free version? They were throwing me random super complicated stuff at the end of lessons and marking me wrong for punctuation. Also, the verbal portion is a joke. You can say whatever and get marked correct. Accent is EVERYTHING, in my opinion, which Pimsleur teaches impeccably. People think I'm fluent after speaking a single sentence.

Hey, I mean I get where you're coming from, and I'd say that's at least partially true. Especially the manifestation part. It's so arrogant to say, that "I manifested this and that, I DID IT with my own mind and actions" like bro, sit down for a second and hold that thought.
