Think you got it wrong when you said r12 9t has got a steeper steering angle, in fact the older r9t does and it should be quicker steering

I haven’t ridden the R12 but I still think looks-wise it’s a downgrade on the R9T. The weird tank shape and removal of the air intake results in a more bland look. Riding wise I’ve been told it has better suspension though.

BMW changed the R12 frame to a one-piece to lower production costs, but I think they improved chassis stiffness as a result. The biggest shame imo was the decision to reduce the tank capacity and hence range. The biggest plus looks wise was the removal of the snorkel and the tidy up of the rear and injectors... Looking forward to what you throw at this bike and how it performs on track

If the handling resembles the R1250, falling into slow direction changes like mini roundabout at low speed, best stay with R9T 3G

While the R9T needed rear shock and (possibly ...) airbox and battery mods, the R12 looks great. I think BMW have shot your fox 😀

Any thoughts on lowering the bike. I have a R12 nine T and at 5’4” with a 28 inside leg. Could do with a couple of inches lower. To flat foot.

I Just bought my first bike, and its a 2016 R9T top spec. Was a show room bike with almost no miles, don't worry I already dropped it (I've got about 1 season of riding experience). I have a R9T UGS. I have full Ohlins for rear and internal cartridge and springs for front. Have same on couple other motorcycles. You will never regret having a bike sprung for you. It makes it your motorcycle more than any other change. Now Cuz, you and your mate have a happy holiday season. Be safe. Next time

The suspension from the factory on my r9T Pure was really poor, and made riding on anything but the smoothest tarmac really uncomfortable. Ohlins front and rear has emptied my wallet but transformed the ride. Huge difference.

Good looking work there Cuz. I have full Ohlins on my UGS, Tenere T7, and a couple more. The Wilbur's are good shocks for the money. Work very well. But the Ohlins are the best for your money. Support is critical. As we say in America, A Meatball flag for loud pipes. Noise is an issue to deal with. We all want to have a place to go to the races. Now learn how to measure like the authorities with same or compatible equipment and then you can push the limits on up. Each decibel takes ten times the power to raise it just one. The Wall of Sound. There is power to unleash with those 96 dba pipes. 6 more dba. All good from east Kentucky

So doing this will make the bike louder, is that correct? I would like to have a bit more growl but not necessarily more decibels. Do you have a list of the number of decibels that are produced by the various exhaust systems you carry? I am currently leaning toward the G&G if you can offer a comparison to the stock on my 2022 719 Roadster. Thanks again!

So the Koso does indicate heated grips? Does it indicate cruise control? Unit Garage has great products. I have their fenders, windscreen and PD fuel tank.

I like this very much, but I am a little lost after reading the instructions on-line. The target bike is a 2023 R nineT Scrambler (Gen 3 / Euro 5). It has a single gauge, but has a separate plug to plug into the rev counter and shows the gear indicator. Firstly, if only the original speedo plug is plugged in, where does the unit get the revolutions and gear indicator from? Secondly, the instructions talk about a "fin temperature sensor" which is inserted into the fins of the radiator to pick up the temperature. Why is that needed considering that the left clock already has the temperature? I just permanently bolted a pigtail to the (+ and - ) terminals under the seat, ran the cable next to the frame, and tucked the quick connect out of the way until needed. It’s being charged by my battery tender right now. I just ordered that fuel tank too. It’s on its way from Italy.
