Why did you choose Cloud that have last play in January instead of August as your last time playing? Will not that overwrite next 7 month of gameplay from January to August? It is the same year. Usually people say to choose the one with your last date of gameplay to not overwrite older data?

Hi Havok, It works on an Asus, but for some reason, it installs a Virtual Microsoft network connection, and you don't have any internet connectivity. After battling to uninstall the virtual connection, I managed to get the drivers and controllers.

I got stuck in a tree and lost 2 hours worth of progress (the one time I forget to get blunder bombs in case this happens)🤧

What kind of DDR4 ram you did your upgrage? According to website, it states that it used 2933mhz DDR4. Can we use DDR4 3200mhz ram? Is it compatible?

I just got these from amazon and im not sure if they are charging or not. The capsule breathes green light then turns to steady green. When the amber light flashes/breathes indicating charging, it stops flashing after about 2 seconds and the LED just turns off completely. Any idea if they are charging or if thats normal? Had them "charging" for about 2 hours and my phone said they were still only at 30% charge :\ 2024 earbuds

you know I found a much easier way than all this junk on youtube: setup windows by creating a throw away microsoft account, once done, disable internet, create local account through netplwiz, reboot login to local account, delete temp microsoft account. done

microsoft has patched this recently. Shift + F10 or Shift + FN + F10 no longer works. if you even try windows + R type in cmd, it gives you a screen that says for security and performance this mode of windows only runs microsoft-verified apps. I have been fighting with this for several hours. is there any other way to do this now ? I'm getting so sick of this forced BS from MicroSoft

Have you tried to connect internet sim card with 4G LTE USB modem? I am new to networking and VPN. I want to create a wireless network in my garage (since I cannot get any cables in there), so my best bet, as far as I know, to have a router that can be configured to TailScale but having sim card. If anyone has any suggestions for me, let me know please :)

This doesn't work anymore. There's an additional step, after the first command and restart, open cmd again and type ipconfig /release This will give you the option to proceed with a local account

I have a question, for some reason I cannot add my drawing tablet to the rog ally I looked into it other people cant as well, buttons work pen doesn't. But for some reason on the steam deck it does work for people so I assume it's a software issue with the specific version of windows that the ROG ally gives, so I think in theory installing normal windows should work. What do you think could fix it?

Yeah this is good for 22H2, which your title should say. I thought you were going to show us how to install 24H2 with a local account. As far as I know, you need to use Rufus to bypass the Microsoft account on 24H2.

You don't have to go through all these for windows 11 pro. You just have to choose Domain Joined and you create a local account.

Now if you really want to impress me do a video installing Windows 11 on virt-manager ( Linux ). That would make for a banging video.

It doesn't work on my laptop. I used the Shift+F10 and used the commands to disable Internet. Tried unplugging the LAN and Turning off the Wifi as well, but installation process doesn't give me the option to proceed further without getting connected to the internet.

You hit to install for a business, domain join. That lets you create a local account. Works in 24h2, vanilla, no problem.

Every pendrive, SD card, portable disk, whatever I have is "ventoyed" so if I need i just put ISO on it :) Very convenient. And how we progressed! Back in the years i had to "burn" cd or cd-rw. Then we had usb thumbdrives and dd'ed isos to them. Unetbootin, multiboot usb, then Rufus. And now Ventoy...
