It's interesting to see someone starting with One Piece of all things. It's cool because it maybe spares you from some of the bias and expectations from anime characters design , as One Piece is very unique and - for lack of better words - more cartoon inspired and looking that anime/manga coded. Should you grow to love it, it can also be a double edged sword , with very few other anime series boasting a similar or even approach level of world building , lore, continuity and callbacks. I don't think I would say opening 4 is my favourite or in the top half, but it is incredibly underrated. some people didnt like it, and they also thought it was too happy and cheerful. but I found it to be the exact opposite. the visuals show our current eren paying no attention the the happy little kid eren thats trying to get his attention. there was some sad revelation that nearly put out the fire in eren. not just the fire of doing whatever it takes for freedom, but litterally for his own life because if it wasn't for him ever being there, people would have lived in ignorance but there would have been loads of people that wouldn't have died for evens sake. its an opening of just sad revelations that nearly changed eren as we knew him forever.

Fun fact one piece is the best selling manga of all time it has sold over more than 510+ million manga keep in mind that is more than jjk,aot,demon slayer,mha combined One piece has always been cooking since it first released in 1997 it's the best story ever told and is well deserved to be in top and once the one piece remake comes out boiiii no one will ever doubt it's the greatest manga of all time

Momo and Okarun are so well-written and naturalistic that I can give a solid assessment of their personality, moral compass, hangups, and flaws from just 3 episodes. They're one of the most realistic and believable teenage duos I've seen in a while. People might be excited/hooked on the badass action sequences and over-the-top zany antics, but the thing that makes this series an instant classic is how smooth their character chemistry is.

The genre of this anime is Action, Romance, Comedy, Horror, Thriller, Sci-fi, Supernatural, Fantasy, Slice-of-Life, Ecchi, Mecha, Mystery and many morel Truly peak fiction 😭

I just love the storyboarding and direction of these episodes. The mirror shots are also spectacular.

Kensuke Ushio's (The Composer) music is so fucking good, nothing like some funky fighting. Other thing you gotta love about the series is for however much it jokes about private parts it's got a whole lotta heart. It's the main reason why i kept tuning in weekly for more episodes.

it may not seem like it at first but this show is a pretty wholesome love story.

Also we kinda need to speak about Shinigami powers. Shinigami have their powers distributed to 4 categories: Fighting with sword, Fighting without sword, Magic (also called Kido), and Flashstep techniques (you will see lot of people "teleporting" around. Even more so, because all race have similar technique). Most focus is on Fighting with sword, when they develop soul bond with their swords, which also develop soul on their own. And thanks to this bond they are able to awaken their sword's unique powers (pretty much each sword has different abilities), included in two forms. First one is shi kai (or also partial release). Almost all shinigami can perform this. They awaken this sword form (in which it often changes shape), can perform some special ability. And then there is second release which is called Ban Kai (complete release). Ban Kai is far more difficult to perform and is considered master technique. Currently with cca 6000 shinigami, only cca 25 is capable to do it, and that is even more than usual. Ban kais abilities are on complete different level than Shi kai, and shinigami themselves mostly treat it like weapon of mass destruction (because it often is).

From someone who has read the manga 3 times just like others her I recommend to read the manga and start watching the anime you hit tybw and skip it in the manga the reason I say this is because the arc in the anime to the manga are vary different like night and day and to all the anime is the canon version sense the anime fixes a lot of things in that arc.
