Hey guys! I am finally back with a video which I have held on to for a long time - I really wanted to make sure it was as helpful as possible, and spent a long time editing it so I hope you all enjoy! 😊
I loved living in these halls and if I could, I'd choose to live here for all my uni years, no doubt about it :). The reason why I'm not is because Scape (if you're not booking with King's) only do 12 month contracts and KCL's academic year is really only 6 months long, so there's just no point to pay for the other 6 months imo. Which is a shame but, yeah...
I was filming the 'B-Roll' (lol) on the day before and the day that I was leaving basically, so sometimes I didn't really get enough footage to line up with what I wanted to say. That means at points the video is a bit stop-start-y, with a lot of extra text too, but I hope it's okay! In an ideal world, I would've gone back and just got more clips to fill in the gaps... but I wanted to make sure that there was as much info as possible with what I had!
In terms of Canada Water as an area of London, I'll be making a whole separate video on that so stay tuned if you're interested - but I'll just say I wouldn't have loved living in these halls THIS much if it hadn't been in Canada Water :D! In hindsight I should've probably talked more about the location in this video... oh well :p
