The defiant... Small but leathel. Even a low quality clip of a dim budget effect when there was no real CGI is still exilirating! That's why DS-9 is my favourite Scifi
The shapeshifters are very evil... They infiltrate you and replace one of your top leaders who then leads you into a trap so they may use that against you to do the evil massacre. Very intelligent species, and very evil too. Being smart is not a guarantee for being good, often it leads to being devious, malicious and even evil.
That didn't happen 🤷♂️. The Cardassians and Romulans fought back, no doubt destroying as many as they could, they were just so completely outnumbered.
As tough as the Galore Class Cardassian destroyers were, they COULDN'T withstand the firepower of ONE Galaxy-Class starship, let alone TWO. And when the Klingons finally arrived, I can just hear Dax thinking: "Who said there's never a Klingon around when you need one...or several Thousand" Hahaha
One concept I always wondered about... Why didn't the Klingons ever have a ship that basically was on the verge of destruction transfer all power to engines, and just hyper-accelerate into the enemies? Death, Glory And Honour! FOR THE EMPIRE!
The first time, she got hit while cloaked with shields down and still managed to destroy one of the attackers before getting overwhelmed. This time, she came in shooting with shields up. Most of the jem'hadar were occupied with the Romulan/Cardassian Fleet
Looks like the Romulans and Cardassian fleet when to the Will Riker school for space battles. Don't fire at anything while the enemy pound the snot out of your ships!!!
I would’ve used freighters as shield ships fire ships and torpedo boats given the dominion multiple targets and force them to break up into smaller groups allowing more ships to pass through.
The butthurt moment Star Wars fanboys hate. Planetary bombardment capabilities to BDZ a planet within hours. #sorrynotsorry I would LOVE to see a D'Deridex Warbird decloak in front of an Imperial Star Destroyer. Look at the glorious flowing lines on our interstellar manowar, bristling with Disruptor cannons and seething at its core with the might of a black hole.
I'd assume their cloaks won't work. It was all a set up so either that entire area had some kind of device to detect them or the cloaks were detectable thanks to the Lovak founder. If they were purposefully leading them into this trap I'm thinking they took cloaks into account
Like most film space battles it is ridiculous. The sheer speed of these ships and the vastness of space, and they are all bunched together like idiots leaving to room to maneuver! Cannon fodder, a delightful target.
why are ships banking in space? This is as bad as star wars.

Oh shit, they're beaming in.
I love when those old D-7s fire disruptor blasts out of their torpedo tubes. Brings a warm feeling inside me.
When the Defiant managed to destroy more Dominion ships than an entire fleet of Romulan and Cardassian battlecruisers did.

Your people were doomed the moment you attacked us.
This video has been on UA-cam almost as long as the platform has even existed. Incredible it's managed to stay for this long.
This actually looks cooler and more realistic than discovery’s space battles
Great episode but don't changelings have trouble maintaining humanoid forms?
I'm flagging this for violence against Miranda class starships
They say targets locked and then a huge number of torpedoes just fire at nothing.
Isnt it sad the one person that could have things so much easier , was always forgotten? Data hooked up to the battle network.
Founders say, founders don't kill founders but to me in this episode alone says they to are straight up liars!!!!!! Lol
Never understand why they are so close to each other...in space...
ramming into ships is a valid tactic when your own ship is heavily damaged.
Space is big, but simple physics...its easier to hit something close up than far away...
My favourite character entrance in anything ever and one of my top space battles. 😩😩I fuckin yelled when the Klingons arrived
Thats some damn good ship combat. Really miss this.
wait. what episode is this ?
Which episode is this
Cannon to the right of them, cannon to the left of them, cannon in front of them volleyed and thundered...
One concept I always wondered about... Why didn't the Klingons ever have a ship that basically was on the verge of destruction transfer all power to engines, and just hyper-accelerate into the enemies? Death, Glory And Honour! FOR THE EMPIRE!
that is actually a common tactic among klingons. its one of the only reasons that klingons state they have escape pods for
It's interesting that the first time the Defiant met the Jem'Hadar she got her ass kicked but here she's the one kicking ass.
The first time she took out one or two while heavily outnumbered.
@@richardthomas5362 She was pretty outnumbered here too.

I told the Klingons not to name anyship Mark orWill did they listen to me? Nooooooooo
The Klingons brought the pain
Wow this is old
RIP NOG
2:26 Garak is pleasantly surprised.
Jem’hedar = 150 ships Defiant = hold my beer
Poor Garak :(
150 defiants vs 150 bug ships

Love this battle
What kind of asshole edits the tone of capt sisko's voice? AgentJackBauer does. That's who...
What did Will do?
0:37 Admiral Ackbar would be so proud.
I would’ve used freighters as shield ships fire ships and torpedo boats given the dominion multiple targets and force them to break up into smaller groups allowing more ships to pass through.
defiant kills what 6 ships? Heh.
Defiant is a tough little ship. Blows up one fighter at point-blank and then slaps the two flanking fighters aside. Hail the #pimphand.
USS Defiant=Federation Pimphand...
It's a trap!

I honestly never understood why the Romulan/Cardassian fleet didn't just cloak and retreat once they realised it was a trap
Colonel Lovak was a Founder.
I'd assume their cloaks won't work. It was all a set up so either that entire area had some kind of device to detect them or the cloaks were detectable thanks to the Lovak founder. If they were purposefully leading them into this trap I'm thinking they took cloaks into account
Cicso's Pimphand ship. It saves the day.
Everyone complaining about the shields: none of the show's major fleet engagements showed a sheild effect because it would have been too expensive
Space is literally larger than any human can imagine. why are they all so damn close to each other ?
Space is big, but it's still easier to hit something when you're close to it...
Riker always takes a beating ..... "Fire at Will"
Like most film space battles it is ridiculous. The sheer speed of these ships and the vastness of space, and they are all bunched together like idiots leaving to room to maneuver! Cannon fodder, a delightful target.
Where's the sound? No audio after 0:02.
nice admiral akbar rip off
