Minor accidents are super common on group rides. Only been on a few and one dropped his bike and another crashed and totalled his thruxton.

Sensible mods planned for your machine. 👍 I think a louder exhaust just gives me a headache! Learning how to read the road effectively (the vanishing point), bike positioning on the road, understanding how to use your brakes effectively in an emergency and positive counter steering are all very useful skills to learn. I find group riding usually brings out silly behaviour and often someone trying to keep up crashes or someone leading crashes. I prefer to ride alone for this reason, it’s not always easy to ride in a group depending on differing abilities or personalities in said group? 😊

Riding in a group is exactly what you would expect. It completely depends on who you are riding with I've ridden in group rides with hundreds of people but quickly broke off to our normal group which is 5-8 bikes. You hear about people in the big group inevitably being stupid and crashing but nobody I've been around in the 5 group big group rides we've done ever had any kind of close call. It all depends on who you put yourself around don't be scared to make friends and ride with them like some of the other guys are scared to do it's not inevitable.

Stunt group rides are amazing, and not an experience people should be scared away from seeing up close. But group riding is its own skill, so need be extra aware and if really not comfortable to then stay away. The thought that people would be too afraid to ride in groups ever is as sad as the thought of people not learning to ride because they are told so many horror stories.

All this happens in seconds and afterwards, its literally difficult to remember exactly what happened. adrenaline kicks in and later on, its difficult to remember because of all the adrenaline. I basically crashed the same way as a noob. Ride safe, Ride smart
