He is a great stud I heard his kids take after his temperament wise. That’s amazing
They make alot money to sent it to abroad what treat 😏
The Original Grand Slam was the Triple Crown plus the Travers and to this day was only duplicated by one Triple Crown winner, Whirlay in 1941. American Pharoah ,unfortunately lost the Travers to Keen Ice.
Zayat~ Thanx for such a fabulous thoroughbred! He's awfully pretty. Hopefully, one day I will be able to breed with him..
Just love him.
How can American horses be viewed skeptical in Australia? I’m confused.
Does that mean that the Triple Crown winner before American Pharoah was Secretariat?
No there were two others after Secretariat. Seattle Slew in 1977 and Affirmed in 1978. Then American Pharaoh was next in 2015.
@@meganhill453 Right, I forgot about those after Secretariat.
Martin is Magnificent. Baffert didn't do him any favors.
Disgraceful
Since they had to liquidate it makes me wonder where they went.
The Pedigree of this champion American Pharoah is Amazing !!
great video
The horses like the man. The mare and baby approached him from behind and wanted his attention. :)
Love his gait /movement, smooth as silk!
What happened Zapatista stable now
They were always kind to fans. Sad how things ended up
Preakness always sloppy...Derby usually too!
Witnessing Triple crown at Santa Anita was a dream come true
I'm surprised he does not have bell boots on. He's got quite impressive reach in the rear.
Wait he’s in Ireland now ??!
Australia dude ...a great racing country. Winx, Phar Lap, check it out
The zayat s. Collect money But when it gets to payments!! That won't happen
He has two great race horses in his bloodline; Man O War and Secretariat, both the best in their day. Man O War doesn't receive the credit that is due him. Man O War was always loaded with a lot more weight to carry than other horses and still won. The one race he lost was due to the jockey. At any rate his great great great grandson is a beautiful horse.
His offspring are winning in the US and Europe.
Does anyone know if any of BARBARO's offspring were big winners ?
ted evans barbaro unfortunately does not have any offspring, because he was not able to stand stud due to his injury at pimlico
Since Barbaro was shot right off the Derby track due to tragic injury... I doubt it.
@@karaamundson3964 He was NOT shot right off the track. They spent almost a year trying to rehabilitate him and unfortunately founder complications due to his leg caused him to be euthanized. I remember this because I watched the race and then kept an eye on the story. The vet said he was going home the next week two days before they had to euthanize him.
Never knew American Pharoh was a relative to Secretariat. Just wow.
Justify, another triple crown winner was also a great, great, great grandson of Secretariat.
@@Sobolady89 and Justify was also related to Seattle Slew too, I’m arranging a breeding with him soon 😁👍🏼
Through his dam Little Princess Emma whose Grandsire was Storm Cat. His dam was Terlingua ,daughter of Secretariat.
Don't you believe it , his male is Pioneerofthe Nile , Empire Maker is all Tartan by our last champion Unbridled and I rode his mother and grandmother Charedi by our other stallion In Reality , Empire Makers mother Toussaud is also out of an In Reality
Oh my goodness, American Pharoah is without a doubt the greatest horse that I have ever seen in my life. To the Zayat family and those who were involved with American Pharoah's run to greatness, I wish as heck that American Pharoah's Triple Crown and Grand Slam wins were fortold in Back To The Future part 2 due to the Chicago Cubs not winning the World Series until a year later because it was 2015 that Doc Brown and Marty McFly traveled to.
Love this amazingly beautiful horse!
He was also the first horse to win not only the triple crown, but also the breeders cup classic- the grand slam of thoroughbred racing! What a legend
He wasn’t the first to when the triple crown but he did break such a year gap when he won
Lost to Keen Ice
Wow, are they beautiful babies!
How many people you fuck over....stand with smile on you face..triple crown winner, and broke!!!
Broke...how many people got fucked from them...triple crown winner, and nothing to show for it. SAD!!!!!
How do you a triple crown winner...and your broke!!
Can you English at all?
He's a BEAUTY !!!!!!
türkiyeye hayırlı olsun aygırlık için alındı
A beautifully put together boy. Hope he does well at Coolmore.
He is a magnificent looking horse.
legend
Sad the owner sold American Pharoah was sold. He could have been the Stallion used for breeding but his greedy owner sold him. Saddest thing about horse racing. More people should be like Champion Horse Owner the late Penny Cheney. I’m just happy the owner lives in Kentucky. Keep that horse in America 🏆
Not greedy, just practical. Owning thoroughbreds is extremely expensive.
He is a stallion used for breeding....
All their frustrations enden when that Magnificent son of Pioneerofthenile and Littleprincessemma ended the 37 year wait.
Just to be clear, it's not Darby. It's the Kentucky... Derby.
She's in Australia and she's not screwing it up, it's just the accent. U.S. accent would make other English speakers piss themselves laughing too so get off your cow
Don't forget about Justify!
SportDogg2008 Justify was tested positive for performance enhancing drugs
I have always been struck by how soft this horse's eyes are. So many Thoroughbreds, especially breeding stallions, have chronic "grumpy face," but he looks so relaxed and sweet. A superhorse as well - he's the real deal!
A lot of the thoroughbreds I’ve encountered are very gentle but hot headed. They’re bred to compete and they are very competitive. Stallions are a bit hormonal though
Good Thoroughbred sires make good horses no matter what country they're from or their progeny are in. Go figure. LOL.
I loved the Australian commentary. Learned a lot. And AP is one handsome fella.
Triple Crown winner WHIRLAWAY (who initially stood at Calumet Farm) went to France in 1950 and eventually died there. Bad fact checking people.....
now the question is: Can Justify become the Second Grand Slam winner?
He will never compare to Secretariat. Period!
Agreed.
@Smogger911 For real, fucking tired of hearing about all these race fan wannabes constantly spouting off his name like he's a fucking god. His times have been beaten, he himself has been beaten and by shit horses too, his own jockey claimed the horse was a quitter if he was challenged in the stretch, and as far as I know he never raced in handicap races. Not saying Secretariat is overrated, he was a great horse but I'm just saying there are horses out there who have done very well in their own right who don't deserve to be forgotten. People constantly screaming about Secretariat have probably never even heard of Citation, Dr. Fager, Forego, John Henry, Easy Goer and Sunday Silence, Buckpasser, Damascus, Silver Charm, Holy Bull, Spectacular Bid and many others. My personal favorite is Ghostzapper; beat multiple champions at distances varying from 6 to 10 furlongs on fast to sloppy tracks and he could close from last, stalk and set the pace, didn't matter. He was a hell of a horse, I'm not going to sit here and say he was the best, but he is my favorite and has since become the broodmare sire of Justify. American Pharoah is an amazing horse and doesn't deserve people shitting on him because they think another horse, from a totally different era, was better, it's retarded.
Secretariat is a God of racing. But I love AP and btw his times have NEVER BEEN BROKEN
@@nanceydavison4202 All Secretariat really did was set Stakes records, the only speed record he set that still stands is for the mile and a half, which he was supposedly eased for, which I DO find impressive. But that stakes record he set in the Derby for the mile and a quarter has been broken in other races and the speed record (on dirt) is currently held by a fantastic horse, Spectacular Bid who ran the mile and one quarter Strub Stakes in 1980 in 1:57 4/5 compared to Secretariat's 1:59 2/5. His Preakness time has also been beaten in other races by Riva Ridge, also a great horse. Secretariat's Preakness record is questionable as well due to a clock malfunction. He was a great horse, yes, if all you go by are stakes records. There is more than one way to be a champion, in that respect, there are horses that are better in other ways.
@@109367 finally someone with sense.
Nijinsky......dudes look forward as I can predict Justify to be another triple crown winner 2018.... trust me on that ....many many great racehorses have graced the tracks all over to really say one from a different era is greater or better will remain fleeting as we would have to race them n see ... impossible.....
Chris Gardner Justify did win the triple crown
nice
Even now three years later American Pharaoh has shown he's a better champion then most Human athletes are
