I only have a ds lite from 2010, still works with a 2Gb micro sd, but screen/ hinge got cooked so I have to use it with a thick paper stuck in it, keeping this one and my psp was the best thing, glad I never let my dad give them away

Pro tips: If you want to play DS games then just get an R4i card and memory card and fill it up with games. It will save room on your console memory card for more 3DS games and will put that never used cartridge slot to use. They are also really cheap, under $10 shipped from aliexpress. Don't use an emulator or twilight menu for GBA games. 3DS/2DS will run GBA games natively (no emulation) with its hardware. Just get the super injector app and convert GBA roms into cia files that you inject using the modded consoles FBI app. It's much easier to do than it sounds. Now you can easily have your GBA games on the main menu screen like any other game. I'll also add that the super injector will let you put other games in your system as well from nes/snes/genesis/tg16 and play it from the already built in 3DS emulator.

Netflix on consoles is just one single thing, a highly waste of energy… Ok, the switch and 3ds are exceptions with there arm based chipsets but everybody how uses any other console just to watch series on Netflix is just completely lost with no chance of comeback, that’s even far behind stupid…

Probably half of the reason is cuz how easy it is to jailbreak.

Speaking of transferring data to a larger sd card, it is really easy from what I heard. Literally format the new sd card, make a backup copy of the old one onto your PC, and transfer everything to the new sd card. I will be using this method since my 3ds will arrive modded and I need a larger space.

I miss how portable the 3ds is. The switch is too big even the lite is too big

I think one of the things that brings us back to the DS or the 3DS is that the games feel like they're meant to be played and put away. (Short play session) I have found that the Nintendo switch is just too big and bulky and a lot of the games if they are not Nintendo first party titles are not readily accessible for the short quick play sessions that you might encounter at work or other places.

I was recently able to pick up a new Nintendo DSI XL And a 3DS XL. boy Oh boy I think the DS is overlooked for the 3DS The DS has an incredible library and yes I know you can emulate the DS on the 3DS but for those who know DS games look best on a DS they're meant for it the 3DS has too many pixels and the image is blurred. Either way I have been enjoying both consoles greatly and it is very nice to have two brand new consoles with zero wear.

I'm going to be getting one in the next few days. I'm stoked. Not really because it's a handheld though. I just don't have much money and it's gonna be the best PC I've ever had for gaming. I'll probably play it docked a lot, though I don't have the best setup for that either, so if it works out maybe I'll be playing all those games I've never been able to play before handheld.

All those people saying that it was great that Nintendo just had one system they could focus on were so naive. We lost so much when they stopped 3ds production and never replaced it.

I actually feel like that was a great era for Nintendo it was the last few years of better practices before Nintendo realize they could nickel and dime their customers with trash games. I mever understood why so few people bought the wii U compared to the switch the switch is a significantly worse console in almost every way literally the only thing it had going for it is its mobility other than that the wii U was smoother has a better game library it doesnt have battery problems it was more ergonomic and the gimmicks unique to certain games were very smooth. More importantly it was a full blown home console unlike the switch and its god awful performance when connected to a big screen.

It's linux gaming. Thousands of developers all around the world are working day and night to make this possible. Love to all developers and community to support them ❤❤❤

Ngl, maybe I'm like 1 in 10 people that are like this, but I LOVE the 3D effect in games. It's so cool.

"What does it add other than an OLED screen" Uh, Its a bit lighter in weight, has a 90hz refresh rate compared to the lcds 60, It has up to double the battery depending on the game, it has more storage, it has better speakers, runs cooler and it has higher quality haptics. The oled is just the cherry on top (and looks amazing), and all for only an extra 130.

You should put the emulators on the 3ds not in twilight, and theres an app to run gba games nativley in ds mode i forgot what it was called but its better than emulating gba games
