    But from your attire you’re a buddhist monk of the Mahayana school in central China aren’t you? How could you consume or even slaughter animals? To my knowledge only monks of Vajrayana and Theravada schools are allowed to eat meat.. whereas killing and processing meat for food are still very strictly restricted. The later two schools of buddhism are mainly found originally in the Tibet region and Southeast Asia respectively.
