Hello man, from what I've seen, when you connect to the multiplayer, it says: Xbox Network. So the multiplayer might be fixed but I'm not sure. Also, I hope that the Black Ops saga gets released on MS.

when has it been safe? You watch the wrong theater mode film and you get infected. also I think ghosts on console may be safe? I haven’t heard anyone get hacked on that version of the game.

If they ported the games to a new version of the engine or whatever and tried to fix the rce and update security, they should do the same thing on Xbox, and natively release them on the newer Xboxs and get rid of the 360 since thats the cause of the modding issues on console, and add crossplays while theyre at it.

I guess they want to add those games to Game Pass. Why woul'd they fix matchmaking issues in MW2/BO1/BO2/MW3 in Xbox? We just have to wait a little longer. I'm telling you. I'm not playing BO6 MP. Not anymore. It's trash, packed with shitty systems that want me to be mad and mess with my weapons so much... I'm playing Zombies only. It seems that Zombies are getting all the love from Treyarch... I would play older CoD's streaight away when then get dropped on Game Pass. All I want to say is that addition to Game Pass could get us a lot more players to older games.

Everyone should wait on buying all these old CODs. They are going to drop them onto gamepass slowly.

It's probably a remaster with higher texture and model detail. Textures alone can increase size by 10s of gigs.

They can fix those server issues and such by making it so the game runs through steams online servers for the steam version which would allow more money and less complaining

This video makes me sad. To see a portion of the games that made the ps3-xbox 360 era so good be dangerous to enjoy unless you're offline. Which removes more than half of the product's value. Man. I didn't think I'd feel sad about a few cod games.

The best move that can be made is for MS/Activision to create a "Call of Duty Classics Collection", somewhat like what was done with Halo MCC. Get all the fan favorite classics from COD 4 2007 thru Ghosts 2013 all under one menu with cross play between console and PC. Also needs to include COD4 Remastered and maybe even the unreleased MW2 Remastered MP. However the most important aspect I would be looking for in this experience would be modern day security with all damaging exploits patched out, whether they be in-game cheats to gain an advantage or more malicious stuff like RAT/worm/RCE. I feel if this is done and the games back-end can be modernized, the collection could be maintained with minimal cost and effort for the extreme long term. I don't think I'd play anything else for at least a year if this comes out.

I think the reason the games are so big on MS Store, is because MS store installs all the language packs for the game, unlike on Steam, where you can choose what language to install for the game. Fallout 3 did that also, that’s why it’s much bigger on MS store.

I don't think many people at all will buy the trilogy through the Microsoft store, on Steam they already average 70-150 players. It probably has to do with them ending their support for the games on Steam since they have already shut down all the leaderboards on every CoD for Steam only. Also, they will never make the older CoDs safe. They're too old and way too dead for them to have a reason to patch hundreds of exploits.

An IP can be used for a lot more than just a DDoS attack, the attacker could port scan your network figure out what software you are running and exploit it if it's out of date. You should view the IP as the door to the house, you better hope the locks aren't outdated. For 99% of instances these people are just Skids and will only DDoS you, however the 1% can really mess things up.

Your assuming every router is setup to have a dynamic IP this isn’t the case for a lot of people static IPs are still in use, Advanced warfare with Alterware you can play the whole game it’s all there, BO3 the new T7X.exe for the boiii client is being updated and monitored I believe by namelessnoobs, there is a IW7 client in the works, ProjectB04 is complete and ready for release they just waiting for black ops 6 to have its shine to try and avoid a C&A, MWR has H1 and H2M is alive under the name HMW

If anybody sees this message in the future, I want to pre-warn everybody to understand that these kind of malicious attacks can happen through any video game of any type. I tell you from my personal experience back in the PlayStation 3 era when someone was playing "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves". There was a very well-known hacker in the multiplayer community and the person would actively cheat and if you called them out for the cheats, they would openly turn on their mic and tell you they're going to get your account banned in less than a couple minutes and they would prove it because your teammates would start disconnecting and disappearing. And then I even had one of my friends inform me that they got banned out of nowhere. The abuse of power is always there if someone has the knowledge to do it. I'm just letting everyone know because the risk is always there with any form of online.

it's kinda disappointing that you are just generally telling us about issues you can find, it'd have been cool if you did an investigation in these games, tested them and told us what's actually possible cause you can confirm it. it's kind of a failure to me that you're trying to tell us if world at war is safe but you don't know cause you can't find any info about it, it'd be better if you tested it or found someone capable of testing it

Is the risk of account banning a risk on mw19 with mod menus? I have a genuine level 1001 account with nearly Damascus and a few tac nukes and I'd really hate to lose that account over some hacker who is angry at me for whatever reason. I used to play super frequently but slowed down a bit recently and i wanna get back into specifically mw19.

I like how they call them RATs they should live by that Moniker EVERY day! The Scum of it all next to the Publisher that could not give two shits about restoring their Older Titles services, and still charge full price on the base game and DLCs. Activision could care less because they want you to be a part of their newer title and shut down many fans games because it will “hurt their bottom line”.
