Had to order one. This is a really neat design, with some Canadian history. Simple but elegant and functional. Can't wait to put it to use at home and in the wilderness!

when you say not very cold I need to consider youre Canadian. Here in Australia means a lot different. I just got one of these on special but Im curious what temps you find this comfortable down to.

So where can one get this knife? It is an interesting design. But calling it the "Mountain Man" is a tad off. You see, the Mountain Men/Fur Trappers and Explorer's of the 1800's would carry up to 4 knives and a tomahawk or belt axe. A small knife for practical camp work. A Medium length knife for skinning and butchering game, and a large knife for self defense, along with said tomahawk or belt axe. I used to do Mountain Man reenacting when I was young. Took me two years to get my kit together. I still have the knives and tomahawk I carried.,

What’s the new design you’re working on in a recent video where the knife is thinner behind the edge. I have a Kodiak. Love it. But I am searching for a big knife that’s slicier - thinner behind the edge.
