    With respect, this man looks like a spectrum, maybe his muscles look in shape, but there is no vitality in his looks... so artificial, lets see how things go, but does not look natural at all

    is the heartmind the inner conciousness or true self (atman - from vedanta)?

    • @theartoftaichi

      To me, the heart is about feelings, the mind is about thought. You cannot have one without the other. It's important to be true to yourself.

    I'm learning about the 3 Dantians and i think the Lower Dantian is sooo important. I think it's very primordial for grounding yourself am i right? (i am suffering from big stress and anxiety and i hope this will help me) Also how do you explain that the system of the 3 Dantians are much less known by people compared to the system of 7 major chakras?

    • @theartoftaichi
      @theartoftaichi 2 місяці тому

      I think it is all marketing. Yoga is more popular than tai chi. It is important to understand the chakras, but according to the Chinese, the 3 dantians are the most important to cultivate.

    Hi, I hope you answer questions, but if not I understand. I can feel chi I'm my most and focus to move it around and it seems to increase blood flow and can cause twitching which all this is good, but when I move it to a place that has pain, the pain intensifies. I'm not sure what to do with this, or the chi. Thoughts anyone?

    • @theartoftaichi
      @theartoftaichi 2 місяці тому

      Hi, the idea is to not just move the chi to a place of pain, but move the chi THROUGH the place of pain, so you can wash the pain away.

    From the time of youtube THE BEST VIDEO OF TAI CHI..... THANKS IRVIN...At least someone to explain simple. Everything you said is a gold...on one place. Many people will not realized that but this is what tai chi is. Using stimulants like coffee, sugar, alcohol, drugs just takes energy from tan tien...and makes you seek and who know what. Once tan tien is full you can do miracles. Irvin this is video of true master....

    I hope my story encourages someone it sure did encourage me. I was suffering from toxins buildup in my body due to a poor functioning kidney. As a result I found it very difficult to walk even a short distance without feeling like I had run a marathon. My legs lack strength And were in constant pain whenever I moved or even stood for a short period of time it was awful I feel glued to my chair afraid to move because I couldn’t endure the pain that followed movement. I decided one day to return to tai chi practice that I discovered while in my 30s I’m 62 now. I attended a class at my local community center and after two weeks of consistent practice I was able to walk without discomfort the length of two football fields. I was shocked I was expecting some improvement in my health but never dreamed of something so dramatic happening I can honestly say that there was a direct correlation to the practice of doing the movements and my walking a little better

    In an episode from the TV series of the 1970s, Kung Fu, starring David Carradine, One of the characters on the series court kai Chan Kane Meditating and asked him what he was doing. I like canes response so much that I apply it to tai chi practice. Kane says I do this to help me deal with life’s many faces. I felt that was a perfect answer for studying Tyjae which is a form of movement meditation
