I'm an adventure photographer from Norway. I love taking pictures, time-lapses and videos of nature and wildlife.
One of the seven mountains.
My father and I hiked up to Rundemannen, and caught the sunset and night sky over Bergen, Norway. Shot on the Lumix s5ii and Nikon z8.

Thank you! Yes, it was a day to remember :)
Flotte bilder og videoer frå ein fantastiek tur!
Are you planning to replace the OM-1 with the G9II? Great video by the way!
Stunning shots! Great job :)
Thank you :)
I'm a little late to this video, but only yesterday discovered your channel. I really enjoyed this video, well put together, very informative and great stills and video. I'm currently trying to decide on whether to get the G9II, or the OM-1 Mk2, and it's a tough choice. I'm primarily a stills shooter and both cameras look very capable. Putting the continuous AF issue to one side and putting both cameras video capabilities to one side altogether (I think most people agree the G9II is definitely the best for video) and judging both cameras purely on photographic stills quality, which one would you say comes out on top on that front? Purely from the finished output image and image quality, both as standard MP output and their respective hi-res output. I know this is somewhat subjective and people will have different views, I find the G9II colors look nicer for example, a nicer colour science, to my eyes anyway. So I would like to know which camera you would choose, purely based on the final image output, not the pros and cons of getting there, but which actually takes the best photograph, in your opinion. Thanks, looking forward to your reply, liked and subscribed.
Which camera is the best? One of the hardest questions to answer these days :) It in the end comes down to which camera you enjoy the most, and bring with you on trips the most. No camera scores on all fronts. The G9ii is amazing for landscapes and video recordings, while the OM-1 mk2 is amazing for wildlife and has unique in-camera functions that are a joy to use. I agree that colorwise the Lumix pictures look nice, and the video quality is superb. Pick the camera you will enjoy the most to use, the one that feels the most right in your hand.
Amazing Video.!! Loved it.! 👍
Hello TJ, can you please tell me which tripod you have used in the video while filming the ducks. The small tripod name ? (Video time 12.11)

Nice video. Landscapes looks nice - so much wide space, freedom feeling. If you shoot from the car as you do it at 10:40, the picture will be affected by warm air from the car. Even your father's pictures will be affected by the warm air.
thank you, that is true, didnt think of it at the time. Still got some good pictures that I'm happy with though :)
I liked your bird images and videos. good job.
such a lovely trip with your dad, my dad would have loved one of those off road scooters to go bird watching. I did spot the mosquito buzzing around you early on and thought you. were being very self controlled, then later you had your net on......and so many flying around and feasting on you. Certainly hope you didn't get too many bad bites. I have started using one of those Flextail devices, was sceptical at first but it does seem to work. I don't like chemicals etc but sometimes it is necessary. It takes a while to get delivered but if you are going to have plague proportions again on a trip you might consider one. check them out at least. Back to the Plovers, they are truly amazing birds, we have 1000's over herre in the UK in the autumn/winter and they truly are a sight especially when they are bathed in the low sun, the Golden Plover definitely becomes golden. I would love to see one in breeding plumage in real life though, just like the phalarope and so many other species that only hit our shores in non-breeding season. Another lovely video, thank you
@@Sarah-g6k thank you for the lovely comment! I will keep ur tip in mind. My problem is that I often forget to think of mosquitos... I was lucky that we had nets this time :)

Great great pictures, really, always with a gorgeous out-of-focus back/foreground and a nice composition. And it's so cool to see you captured all this beauty while spending a day with your father.

Love your videos, keep them coming. Though I was confused when you showed an image of what you called a 'Common Merganser' when in fact I think it was a 'Goosander. '

In Iceland, puffins are a delicacy. At least if you like that sort of bird. They’re basically a pimped up chicken.

The right combination of music and atmosphere
That Olympus set-up is really good. Very impressed.
I loved watching your video, it was very relaxing, especially your video of the birds. Your videos are really well put together, the clip, the music, the atmosphere...
@@daysofgrace2934 thank you! This video was made over 2years ago, hope I have approved over this period of time :)
I shoot OM system and for sure it is not as good as your own set up. But I think a couple of points are important when it comes to this comparison. 1. You mention that the entire OM setup is the same price as the Canon R5 alone. What is more is that the lens is 15k USD at my last check. Correct me if I saw the wrong lens. 2. The weight is significantly different. Without a tripod carrying 5+ kg is really tough for most people. My point is that since 99% of us on UA-cam are amateurs who will never blow our pictures up on a big print and sell them, then the OM system is more than enough for what we need. And it is amazing that this OM setup is even comparable to the Canon setup when you factor in the price :)
1. OM1 + Olympus 300mm f4, the retail price in Norway 2 years ago was around 450USD. The retail for the Canon r5 at the same time was around 480 USD. 2. I commented on the weight, and how much lighter the OM combo is. Don't feel like I need to mention every single detail. There are loads of videos on UA-cam that cover the technical specs and differences. This is not a full review, it was mostly to check new bird AI AF on the OM system and compare it against the Canon R5. Rest was just additional stuff I felt was worth bringing up while making the video. The reason why I compared these two brands, was because I owned the R5, and my father owned the OM1.
Nice view in norway
