How to shorten your new Citizen watch band (non pin style). I am shortening the band on my new Citizen Men's BF0580-57L Silver-Tone Stainless Steel Watch. Here is the watch on amazon: www.amazon.com/Citizen-BF0580-57L-Silver-Tone-Stainless-Steel/dp/B008FG6ZRI Citizen has instructions here: www.citizenwatch.com/en-us/files/2012/08/clipspring.pdf
Man, I shrug when I see you brush the watch face against the tile...
Remove one link from each side if you remove 2.. You're welcome
I’m
No clothes for the glass surface on tile floor? 😂
Face down on the counter top ouch
Great job thanks
I am not a strong dude. At first I sat at my desk in front of my computer to remove the links on my husband's new watch but couldn't do it--and I am not a person who gives up. So I placed everything in a tray, used a large metal paper clip and I stood up over it. Standing gave me leverage and more strength. My tip is to dig that nail or paper clip behind the tiny screw/bolt and wiggle it a bit then shove it under and PUSH! If it doesn't work the first and second time, keep at it. Wiggle and push and in time even the tightest pins come out. It took me much longer than it took Jeremy but the watch now fits my husband's wrist perfectly. THANK YOU JEREMY!
Good job ! Just fixed my watch
Name of the watch
thank you!
👎👎
Thanks
Thanks 👍👍👍
It’s work🎉🎉🎉❤
Wont not taking links out of both sides make the watch lop sides as the clasp is going to be closer to one side?
0:46 , well my pin went flying into the carpet, did not know that you had to hold the other side to keep it from ejecting.
Thanks for this extremely helpful video. I can now wear my Christmas present from my wife.
It helped me lol
Thanks for posting. This type with no pins is much harder to remove without a special tool. I used a combination of a stout paper clip to release the link and a small screwdriver to push it out. Watch your fingers !
Thanks, video helped a lot
Thanks bro i was super confused by this bracelet. I've never seen these links before lol
Thanks 🙏
muchas gracias por compartir!
Thankyou Sir.
Awesome dude, saved me a trip
Saw everything I needed to see. Many thanks, my watch fits perfectly now!
I searched for a long time before finding your video, it really helped me. Thank you so much!
100%! Worked perfectly! Thanks!!
Thanks!!
This info isn't even on the Citizen website. Thank you
Thanks for the video. This is a ridiculous f@$$ new mechanism that is very annoying!
Thank you man for your video! I've been looking around n around my new watch without a damn pin hole. Now i know how to do it:) i am real happy that i find this video
I have a Citizen E650 and I’m trying to find out how to remove the spring pins to remove the band from the watch. No one has a video about that.
Thanks!!
You have a new watch and you're putting it face down on a hard tile...
I adjust my own watches, but I've never had to adjust a watch with these links. I just recently purchased my dad a Citizen watch (with these links). After watching this video, I took me less than 3 minutes to remove the links, thanks!
next time practice up then make a video
Christ that was easy. Took 2-3 minutes compared to the 45 minutes on my other watch trying to hammer a paper clip through with a full sized nail hammer
Thanks dude for this useful info. Even the Citizen manual do not have this info. By the way, show a little love to your watch by putting a cloth padding on that tile surface. :-) Thanks again.
I'm not saying this guy is giving bad info, but I don't trust anyone that lays a watch face down on a tile countertop.
You need to be closer, can't see!
Thanks man!
Some of my links are so hard to still get out. They literally bent all of my pin tools
Thank you so much for helping ☺️☺️
The pin on the band came out when I pushed what should I do?
Thanks and God bless! Selah Selah and Amen and Amen.
Thanks 🙏
FYI. Make sure you have a soft working surface. Dragging your watch with the crystal side facing on a hard surface such as what's shown would scratch the crystal. It's one thing when dealing with a cheap beater watch and it's another when working on an expensive watch like an Omega.
Thanks man, great video !!
Thank you from 2022. I was given a watch for my birthday but it was too big. I hadn't adjusted a band like this before and didn't even know where to start. The first pin was a bit tough and I needed the pliers to get it out but after that no dramas. Much appreciated!
