I used a 5k PB Interval Session from the @runningchannel to see how much faster I could get in 4 weeks! I lost so much speed when I was training for my half marathon, so I am determined to get faster this year in all distances. I hope you enjoy watching me in pain, pushing my pace 😆 . Beautiful 10k Dog Hike in Peak District

A 10km dog-friendly walk from Monsal Head Long Stay Carpark. This walk had 2 gates and just 1 stile (which had a dog hole). There were so many nice spots to sit and chill with a picnic. From the top of the walk, as you look out, you can turn left or right; we went left, and I'm glad we did. Taking our Dog Arlo for his first-ever swim. The open water swimming at Spring Lakes in Long Eaton was fab. He had to have his own life jacket, and we needed a bright swim cap and goggles; wetsuits and buoys were available to hire. It was a clear exit in real life, prob looks a bit more cluttered on the video :) Nick said it was brutal as a whole haha. Have you done many triathlons this year? Any recommendations I can pass onto him?

Fantastic effort 👌 I don't think I'll ever tackle a triathlon. Hats off to anyone who can do that. I've managed to add some indoor cycling to my running, but i swim like a brick 😂
Haha! Yeh I’m the same, this was my partner and the swim training sounded terrible 😅 I’ve added in some indoor cycling too, defo need more consistency though! That’s one of my aims for this year. You thinking of a Duathlon at any point?
@@RunMandaRun honestly, I don't think I'll do a duathlon, but never say never! I have a trainer bike with no wheels at the moment, for Zwift, so I'm not even at the cycling outside stage 😅
@@markg99 Even though I want to I'm not sure if I will either haha, too scared to cycle outdoors 😆 was thinking i'd get the fitness up on zwift before looking at any races and getting brave. Good luck with your training 😃

Loved the vid. I've done 10 Park runs, started this March, am 62, not run in literally years. PB is 40.16 trying to get under 40 mins. I should try the intervals that might work the oracle. All the best Bob

Before you started the week four session, you said you were doing it early in the week to be fresher for "when we do the PB". Not, "try to do", but "when we do." I love that attitude. 💪🏻🏃🏻♀️

I’m sure Amanda, I know the feeling only too well, Iv trained my arse off only for it to completely fill apart for no reason I can put my finger on, it happened to me when I done Brighton Marathon the 2 time, I trained much harder than I had when I done it previously which was 2 years earlier and I was 20 odd minutes slower, i didn’t do anything wrong really, it went pretty well but I just wasn’t ‘feeling it’ ….. I was absolutely gutted, so Iv got Rutland Half next Sunday, I’m not racing it tho, I’m gonna try n pace my friend to a PB so hopefully looking at around 1.58….. it’s trails tho and the weathers gonna be crap next week so it’s gonna be really muddy so not sure the conditions will be on our side - we’ll see we’ll have fun regardless 😃 x
