4x4 is always fun to watch and run but 4x1 is only good if you have fast runners on it and everyone is anticipating a fast time. So 4x4 is better

I didn't time this workout, def should’ve next time I do a broken 4 I'll make sure I set times for me to hit base on what I want to run in the 400.
4×4 is crazy but me and the boys on 4×1 goes hard asl too
4x1 can be lit when there's chemistry and the speed from all 4 legs
I'm a coach I agree with this concept. Accept in this case, transfer the same resistant energy onto the track without resistance.

Fact, its sucks but part of sports, recover aint the harder part, the hardest part is going back to the level you were, which’s extremely hard, tendon also take longer to recover than muscles, but you got it tho, make sure you're doing your rehab, sleep, eat right, hydrated, and take care of it, the body is made to heal itself over time.

make sure you're keeping those feet dorsiflexed an easy way to tell is if your souls are to the sky or not try to keep the soles shooting back not up
I appreciate the tips, I used to do that then I noticed I cut my backside short, and I didn't push off the ground. when I watch fast people and pros I notice their souls do face the sky, I think as long I land with the knees together and step over my knee I dont need to force the dorsiflexion, Thank you for the feedback
@@doudleyJhonestly agreed, i do believe fine tuning form is good but at the end of the day if you are going to run slower bc of wasting energy focusing on contracting and forcing dorsi flexion sometimes it hurts more than helps imo. good vid 👍.
@@haventseenhim true, I think dorsiflexion in sprinting is questionable like after the acceleration when I watch the pros I see more of a natural ankle, than dorsi flex, I might be wrong that might be just my point of view, and thank you

When would these be done like leg day or upper body day
The pogos you can do them anytime because it’s low intensity, for the hurdle hops and the death jump I usually do them on my ploys day or superset them with a gym exercise not on a crazy leg day tho, hopefully that helps
Do you have a sets and reps amount for each exercise?
Maybe around 3 sets 10 repd
Pogos 3x25, death jumps 3x5, the hurdles hoops 4-5 hurdles 3 times, im progressively trying to add more hurdles. Take like a min break in between.

Right, what happened was our workout supposed to be 350+50 but I changed it to 250+150 so I could work on my speed, cuz naturally I’m gonna run a 250 at a faster pace than I would for a 350, I don’t know how I didn’t noticed I was saying that, thank you

To be honest you don’t need any fancy equipment, wall drill are great, bounding, broad jump will definitely help 10000%
fancy..? there are sleds that can cost like 50$ on amazon, and half of this stuff you can pretty much do with a wall and a resistance band (cheap af).

Most often our hamstrings are not strong enough in these positions and we tend to over stride. Over striding causes hamstring injuries. It makes many young athletes quit track. This drill is actually helpful. If we progress with resistance band that's so much better
Facts, which make the shin swings forward too early I been working on that myself, the basic are overlook, must Athletes don’t know when to contact and relax the hamstrings, thank you for pointing out the resistance band, I used to do it with cable

Getting on your toes so important too. So many people are so obsessed withe the dorsiflexion thing they forget to push with their toes
Facts, most people force the Dorsiflex and land on the ball of the foot(including me sometimes) but really a neutral ankle is the best which easily allow you to land on your toes and push, great tips
@@doudleyJ If a person is on the balls of the foot and their toes that is the combination for contact for sprinting. Facts.
