Detail, polishing, and graphene ceramic coating on a Ford F-350 with Adams Polishes stuff!
There was quite a few steps that weren't included in time lapses so tried to come up with a list of everything this project included...
Engine Compartment (light detail - low-pressure rinsed, scrubbed underside of hood and some engine components, cowls, radiator cover with all purpose cleaner, low-pressure rinsed)
Bug Removal
Higher than Standard Exterior Wash due to some steps required for ceramic (Pressure rinse, foam cannon with car shampoo, scrub with microfiber wash pads, pressure rinse, microfiber towel dry, hand strip wash, additional towel dry, iron remover to clean embedded metals, rinse, and another towel dry)
Wheel and tire clean, scrub with tire/wheel specific brushes, rinse, towel dry.
Glass surfaces inside and out cleaned with glass cleaner.
Interior detail - used rug and mat cleaner on the rubber mats with tire brush to scrub, forced air dry, ceramic spray coating for protection. Door sills and interior door components cleaned. Vacuumed carpets, used fabric & upholstery cleaner and interior brush on carpets in areas vacuum was not sufficient for, removed several carpet stains. Leather cleaned and protected, including several leather stains on console removed. Surfaces such as trim, handles, dash, electronics, all cleaned and protected.
Clay bar treatment - running some clay lubrication over the surface to remove any imbedded contaminants missed with the wash.
Full surface buffing/polishing of body, grill, bumpers, and nerf bars - included removal of several large scratches with compound and polish, and polish of the rest of the surface... significant difference in cleanliness and shine of both body and chrome bumpers.
Surface prep - using an isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) based cleaner as a final step prior to ceramic coating to remove any remaining oils, chemicals, and residue left from previous cleaning/polishing.
Graphene ceramic coating with UV - involved applying with suede applicator, monitoring and balancing with suede microfiber, and verification with UV light, some polishing after to remove high spots. Also graphene ceramic coated nerf bars, nerf bar steps, bed rails, bumpers and bumper pads, which all went through the same prep steps (intense cleaning, iron removal, clay bar, surface prep, application)
Wheel graphene ceramic coating - involved another cleaning with detail spray, surface prep, and graphene ceramic application steps similar to body.
Graphene tire finisher - making tire surface look cleaner and a bit shinier as well as protecting.
Exhaust and mud flaps cleaned a bit with all purpose cleaner, though these weren't possible to get highly detailed.
Aside from microfiber wash pads and some microfiber towels, all chemicals, shampoos, etc. were exclusively Adam's Polishes stuff.

Very nice! What is the total cost for the decked out cart?
Hi Stephen. I got a lot of the bottle holders and polisher mounts and so forth at the tent sale and/or secondhand from other adam's polishes customers... I think only one I paid regular full price for. I also got the US General box itself on a pretty good sale. With that said, all in, theres probably about $300-350 in it. The box itself is currently abotu $280 at Harbor Freight, but it goes on sale all the time... would especially expect some sale around black friday.
awesome job on cart. making the same one!!!!!!
Nice work!
Awesome set up!
How much would you say you spend? And what pressure washer do you use
Could you put the links of the accessories (mounts)?... your setup looks very good
I have quite a few different mounts, but they are all Adam's Polishes. You can see them here: adamspolishes.com/collections/organization
Kinda new to the detailers world. Do you find that having that out in the work area it gets wet and sprayed on, hard to keep clean? Everything looks pretty much brand new, so looking to hear your outlook on it after a few years use. what would you do differently? Im trying to put together a system myself. Thanks!
The cart tends to stay in the garage and any pressure washing I do is in the driveway so hasn’t really been an issue.
👍👍👍👍👍
Wow, this is great! Did you do all the edits back in '93 or was some of it put together afterwards? Happy 30th high school reunion year, #Classof93 ! 😎🎉
I had nothing to do with it, I just digitized it and put it online...
@@mattadams196 Ah well, thanks for making it accessible anyway. A great slice of #1990s high school life. 📺
Thanks! Comparing standing desk set ups and wasn't too familiar with Elfa. Hope it helped with your back issues. 👍
Do you like adams products? 😂
This is the exact video I was looking for. I think I might get one of these carts this weekend. Thank you for the insight to this cart.
Wish the sound worked on this one
UA-cam removed the audio apparently because of various copyright music conflicts, sorry about that.
fucking bueno 👍🏿
Which brand of car cleaning products do you prefer?
I tend to use Adam's Polishes stuff almost exclusively. There's a few things I've found I like a little better, but probably 97% of my stuff is Adam's.
Couldn’t detect the sarcasm in their question huh? FFS even your name is Adams lol
@@annagraham6204 ha! That is just a coincidence. Adam's Polishes is founded by Adam Pitale, no relation :).
This is great. I was looking around for inspiration and how other guys setup their 5 drawer cart for detailing and found your vid. Looks awesome. I stopped using exclusively Adams stuff and use only bigger bottles a while back but at least I’ve got some good inspiration to build my own.
Bro you moded the hell of the cart👍👍👍👍👍but you did change the caster to all swivel 👀🤔
Thanks Henry. I did not change out the casters I just used what it came with. About the only issue is if I park the cart on my driveway which has quite a slope sometimes the brakes on the casters aren't enough to stop it from moving so I end up putting a piece of wood or something to keep it from moving. Normall I keep it in the garage though which is pretty level.
Can you actually close the lid?...some of those bottles look too tall for it to be able to close....GREAT job on this
Hi Tim. It doesn't actually close all the way, which is fine because I regularly use the top section for setting stuff while working on a car - things I find in the interior, towels I'm not done with but don't want to set down, etc. I actually pondered just taking it off. Even in the winter when I'm not using the cart regularly and the bottles aren't there I still leave it open.
Pretty good set-up
I just bought the same one in white. I will be making some changes because of what you shared. Thanks
Thanks for posting! Isn't this fun?! I need this video because I am a victim of some of these people. I have created a blog to document all 40 years of mayhem. I am hurt and need help. If you got to know how to hack I could really use some information before I can move on. Thanks. HHS 00. Tumblr
What size screws and bolts did you use to secure the Adams bottle holders to the cart?
Hi Sean, I believe most of them I ended up using were #6-32 x 1/2" if I remember right... maybe 5/8"? Some of the holes I ended up re-using the holes from the bolts of the toolbox itself, most I had to drill new holes for... but didn't go with larger than needed.
Good job 👍🏾
That is pretty damn cool!!! I did something like that and added a power strip. I like your set up though.
This is exactly what I need! Building one using your video! Thanks Bro!!
I’m not as talented as you are with detail carts but I love your cool ideas in organizing and keeping all that equipment in one cart. So this content helps so much and also that your not sponsored and just keep talking about products nobody wants or likes lol. Look forward to see update Also what equipment do you use for camera or audio
Wow looks awesome. Thank you so much for sharing. U have great ideas to organize. Looking forward to more videos
Thanks, I've actually been meaning to do another little video of it, I've since added another bottle holder and two pad dispensers (one for the 4", one for the 5.5") to it :)
Wow this looks great.
Wow I just bought the same Tool cart today in Green. Yours look really good with all the mods!
I would like to see more videos like this.
What trail is this?
there were multiple trails done as part of this video and honestly I don't remember all of them, it was like 20 years ago :). Hells Revenge, Fins n Things, Golden Spike, and Porcupine RIm.
Ok thanks just was curious im surprised more people haven't watched this video there are not many older videos of moab
Aawww <3
Can you please let me know what you did since then? I have a same problem..
Yes. It was an issue with the back seat "frame", the actual piece under the upholstery. This took multiple visits to the dealership and thank goodness itw as still covered under warranty. I don't recall if it was actually a broken bolt inside the seat itself or a broken weld or what, but they had to order the entire seat frame and reinstall it.
Lol 2017 later where not holding up to heritage standard
Hey Matt, I have the same issue now. How did you fix it?
It ended up being some broken welds or bolts in the frame of the seat. Luckily mini repaired under warranty.
+Matt Adams oh nice! Thank you a lot! :)
