Nice takedown and easy to learn and effective for those hostile situations 👊
Excellent message! Truth.
That is a spectacular technique. Thank you very much for showing us the move; it's simplistic and quicly applied with very little thought. I greatly appreciate you letting us see that.

What if you get knocked down and you find your head against a wall or locker?
i'm pretty sure the person on the leg would be flying all over the place and getting kicked in the face stomach and private area with the suspect on his back like that especially if the suspect is a strong person. The legs are the strongest parts of the body so the person on the legs of a suspect who is on his back who has full mobility of the legs especially in a heighten state of anger or just hysteria could easily get injurie no? the person on top has a good position with the hip control and can do many maneuvers to turn the suspect over. The leg lock when the suspect is on his stomach to control the hip and leg would def work then.
Hello Timi, you're correct in that the legs are strong and easy to flail, however as you pointed out the person on top is killing the hip movement which drastically impairs the leg movement. Once the crossover of the legs happens, which is pretty quick with practice, it becomes really really difficult to move for the suspect on bottom. Then the leverage of the leg cross makes the roll over and control pretty effortless. Thanks for the comment. Stay safe!
How would you react if the person tried to shuffle away from you instead of going left or right?
Hey Flynn, you actually have pretty good control because you can shift all you weight onto his upper torso as well as the "clamping" capabilities on the arms actually makes it pretty hard for the person on the bottom to move, especially away. Thank you for the question, stay safe!
ty!
Please, Go into handcuffing options after the takedown.
Will do!! We have some options coming up.
Good to go.
Lets go!!
STOP RESISTING!! & Subscribe!!
🤝🏽
will this work with someone who is taller or has more muscle around the tricep or around the underarm part?
We have found issues when the subject is too tall, however the more muscle we've typically found that it works more. Thanks for watching.
Great video thanks
Thank you so much!
I would like to set up a seminar for law enforcement in Flushing NY. at my Yin-Yang BJJ facility. How does it work? its my first time trying to arrange an event.

Yall should post more. These videos can be super beneficial
Thank you so much, we got really busy with travel and seminars and we just started the filming process again, stay tuned for more videos. Stay safe.
if you use correct real power
Also seeing a cop swinging punches looks terrible on camera.
Dave is a legit badass
I am peaceful and compliant, but if for some reason I were ever to be arrested, I would tell the officer about my heart condition and painful Multiple Sclerosis symptoms, and ask if I could be cuffed out front. Would the officer do it for me? Thanks
Great question, and it's hard to speak for every officer and every department. Some departments have it written into their policies and procedures to handcuff in the rear. I can tell you however I have accommodated similar situations many times. Hope this helps, stay safe.
@@garddefensesolutions7367 Thank you. I am law abiding, so I doubt arrest would ever happen. But life is funny, and lots of unexpected things happen to people. How long a person is cuffed behind might make a difference with a heart condition, whether a heart attack could happen. How long is a person usually cuffed for?
Handcuffing duration varies depending on the situation, typically only as long as it takes to transport to the closest jail or detention center. Some situations are just moments, long enough to sort out a situation, what is called "investigative detention".
@@garddefensesolutions7367 That's good to know. Thank you.
Great video! Thanks! How would you handcuff somebody when you have their back on the floor?
Thank you! So in this particular technique, Dean is using his weight to pin the shoulders, and his knees pinch in at the upper limb making it harder for someone to move their arms. He then collects both arms and moves his hips forward as he controls at the forearm which really locks out both arms. We have a video demonstrating this exact technique. It is really effective, however the pressure of it does not exactly translate through video. Remember as always, we rarely attempt to handcuff until we have control or compliance. Stay safe!!
De donde eres??
Don’t need to watch. Yes! There are hundreds of videos showing BJJ being used in street fights.😐
These guys are the best!
Thanks so much Joe Hammer, you're the best!
Couldn't tell if someone was getting tased or if the predator was behind the camera.
You are watching a few idiot amateurs with camera and audio try to figure out how this UA-cam thing works. All audio clicking has been remedied in all new videos. Thanks for watching!
@@garddefensesolutions7367 HAHAHA all good...I'm no techie either. Great video tho.
Not that I don't agree with you about remaining calm and using techniques but there are reasons to use the "stop resisting" verbiage. The verbiage is directly related to the 835 powers of a police officer that justifies use of force in the eyes of the courts. The verbiage is not only for people that have direct view of the physical encounter and or the body cameras but also for people that just just hear what is going on. I enjoy your videos just an observation from this video.
Love the ending
¡Thank for the video!
Always our pleasure!!
Looking foward to waching more videos like this one. Hello from a spanish brown belt LEO.
Thank you so much! I appreciate all your training and hard work, brown belt is a hell of an accomplishment.
This is the new police training. Understanding leverage and pivot points. When on the ground neutralize the hips. You can't get up without leveraging the hips. In the case of George Floyd one man could've handled him by sitting on his hips and controlling the upper body by the cuffs, basically riding him like a horse. And thus elevating the top portion of the body and not having to pin him at the shoulder or neck area.
Leverage, efficiency, and timing are the things that will change how most police use of force are carried out. This is the mission of our seminars and our company, to bring this training to all law enforcement. Thank you for the comment!!
@@garddefensesolutions7367 Good job. The change can't come fast enough. It will also help change the confidence level for the men in blue.
Good stuff
Appreciate it.
How to defend someone charging you next please.
I am not a LEO but I have watched tons of policing videos. I completely agree with you. Keep up the good work 👍
Thank you so much!!
Hell yeah, more LEOs need to hear and see this
It's not their fault, they were taught this. However, help spread the word my friend, for you are correct! We can do better.
Great technique, outstanding instruction and I’m LMAO at the blooper ending. Lol. You guys rock!

Yall should have way more than 211 subs. Keep doin good work!
Thank you so much! We have been doing what we do for a long time, however we are new (and not that great at) the UA-cam game, but we will get better and keep releasing better content. Stay tuned.
