My drone goes max speed when I arm it and I have done everything and tried everything. In the setup tab, the drone moves correctly when I tilt it by hand (left, right, up, down). In the receiver tab, when I move the controller sticks, the sliders respond accordingly, and the drone reacts by rotating( 3d visualisation) and the throttle, roll, pitch and yaw values change. In the motor tab, when I move each motor individually through the software, they also respond correctly on the drone. The motor positions (1, 2, 3, 4) are correct, and their directions are as they should be. And yes I did mount props and tried to arm it. At this point, I'm not sure what else could be causing the issue. Can you pls help?

What is the weight of your drone? With/without a battery

Is there anything else I need to make it work ie computer interface unit of some sort?

How can I adapt this with a DJO O3 or DJI O4 naked air unit? Also have you had issues receiving packages from China? Last I heard packages are held by USPS.

Hi - im thinking of building this with a dji o4 lite and replacing the video system and the receiver (i have dji FPV RC 3) do you think this is a good idea or not really

yoo i just built one havent gotten it to fly i got most parts form a guy on fb mp and only missing a frame but the battery is dead it wont take off the ground i suspect the battery is old the firmware on the flightboard is form 2018 could old battery be reason it wont take off far

I was going to build this one too but got stuck on which VTX to use. It didn’t even cross my mind to use the Zeus. This seems perfect for the frame. Nice work!

Nice video. Your 7 inch one made me start with it as my quad (since I have lots of good places for long range nearby) but I've looking for something smaller for more acro, maybe some bando, etc, stuff. But it seems 2 inches already starts to have some limitations and the 3.5inch sub250 seems more the sweet spot for me and below that just go to a whoop for indoor capabilities!?

I build your $100,- 5inch drone. It was my first ever drone and only started in the sim while I was waiting for the parts to arrive. The drone is a tank! I crashed it in sand, wet fields, trees and bushes at full speed and it is holding up just fine. I was thinking on upgrading the motors but only when the cheap ones die. It is the perfect drone for a beginner to try the tricks learned in the sim. I just bought a air65 champion edition for indoors (with a throttle limit and according PID tuning to tame it down) but I think this will be my next project to build. Amazing video! Keep up the great work! Maybe a budget tinywhoop build video in the future? They can be made for around 100/120 dollars.

Id also recommend a smoke stopper, especially since the pads are so small, it could save you a fc 👍

Good videos, i built a 5 but not with the parts from your videos but i did use almost all your videos to learn how to build it. Turned out great! These drones are harder to fly than people on UA-cam make it look, especially when trying bando or woods, I've crashed quite a few times but the drone has yet to take any damage except the props.

Any reason you don't recommend the ViFly Whoopstor 3? Charges up to 4 2s batteries at once and can be powered by USB C. Incidentally, all my drones are bound with 'banana' 😂

Some beginner advice on soldering: - Spend some money on the iron if you can afford to. Quality irons are more likely to head up well, hold the temperature better and have a decent temperature controller that keeps a relatively tight window. Also get flux, isopropyl alcohol 70% for cleaning is nice to have on hand and usually not too expensive. - Don't trust Aliexpress for buying your first roll of solder. They have some stuff that is barely functional. Prices for the stuff aren't ridiculously high in first world countries anyway. - Get a cheap multimeter. Cheapest one you can find will do well enough. It's just about the ability to find short circuits. You can't always see a connection between two solder pads, but you'll always be able to measure it. Cheapest models are below $10. You can also use them to measure other stuff, they're just not overly accurate. They will provide you with decent educated guesses though. - Get some practice PCBs like Sam had in the video. They'll help you out a whole lot and give you the option to try different approaches. There are many different ones, so whatever you're trying to solder, there is a practice PCB for it. That should set you up for decent success in case you're not looking for a setup for a one-off solder job.

The legendary apex 2 frame 😂 an oversight would be not using the HappyModel 5in1 X12 ELRS fc, has ELRS RX and 400mw Vtx built in, you don’t need to wire anything as there are plugs for the motors and the camera, otherwise great build

i've done a similar build, but mine flytime is only 1minute and 30 seconds... with 550 lipo and 1°c temperature... i'll try to change the prop and hope to see some difference😂

Your $100 5 inch build was the only reason I got into 5 inch drones but those motors suggested didn't work out for me. Now another $100 video 😮 it's too tempting not to build!! Keep up the great vids!
