PANCAKE DAY SPECIAL | CHICKEN CREPES | CHICKEN PANCAKE | ZAHRA'S KITCHEN

Today I am sharing my recipe of chicken crepe
please like, comment and subscribe !
Ingredients for chicken
- 1 kg of chicken boneless shreded
- 1 to 1 and half teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of Kashmiri chilli powder
- half a teaspoon of tumeric powder
- half a teaspoon of garam masala powder
- half a teaspoon of jeera powder
- 1 teaspoon of dhaniya powder
- tomato ketchup
small bowl of tomato pasata
- 1 teaspoon of ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon of garlic paste
- small bowl of mixed capsicums
- 1 teaspoon of whole cumin seeds
- tin of sweetcorn
method for chicken
- in a big frying pan add 2-3 tablespoons of oil and wait for oil to heat up on medium flame, add whole jeera and ginger and garlic paste
- add chicken
- add capsicums and sweetcorn
- add the masalas and tomato pasata and tomato ketchup
- cook for 2 minutes
- switch off the flame and set aside
Ingredients for crepe
- 1 cup of plain flour
- half a cup of milk
- half a cup of water
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons of butter melted
Method
- in a food processor add all the crepe ingredients and blend
- Get a small frying pan and brush with oil and switch the flame to medium heat
- add mixture and spread evenly
-wait for two minutes for side too cook and flip the crepe and wait til golden brown
- remove onto a plate
Get 3 tablespoons fo flour and cold water and mix to a paste
- get the crepe and fill with chicken in the middle top with grated cheese and seal as shown in the video
- once all crepes are sealed, get a frying pan and brush with oil on medium flame
- add the sealed crepes and let it cook on each side until brown, remove onto a tray
now enjoy with chutney!

These are in no way Maru's bahjia and it is a travestiy to call them that. Im sure you cant use Maru's name. It is a TM. The Slices too thick, the batter all wrong. Its all wrong. Please dont use Maru it is against the trade desciptions act. Call them Crispy Bajia, or your Bhajia and the chutney is all wrong.

This is called aloo bhajiye not maru ke bhajiye, maru’s bhajiye is delicacy originated in Southern Africa, it’s completely different then your recipe,
Originated in Nairobi , Kenya. There was a restaurant on Accra road run by Maru, known as Marus. He shifted to London around 1970 and ran the same there,it's still running there. He left Nairobi place to one of his local employee,and it's still running,and popular.
