EVERY Hot Toys 1/6 Scale Figure Releasing in 2022...MAYBE?!
If they just focused on finishing what they started we'd get very few figures and it's a crap business model. People forget they're a new company competing against the juggernaught that is Hot Toys. Their batch system is crap, but I suspect is a side effect of their production faciltiies. Kit has also said the later figures are definitely coming quicker than the older ones. To say people are waiting on Pennywise still as an example also forgets that delays can be nothing to do with InArt, it's also who you order from. I've had mine for months now and I live in the UK. The Batman has definitely had issues with production, but we can hope that it is the last of the large delayed figures. I have no idea if they will finish the Fellowship, but I suspect they will. We've got two already, I don't think Legolas will take that long between announcement and release if Harry is anything to go by. InArt deserve criticism for a rough start for sure, but the negativity around them is so over the top it's hilarious.
All valid points. All I want from InArt is an amazing Christopher Reeves Superman. Thanks for watching mate!
I love that Tie Marvin The Martian is my favorite looney tune.... Costa I been getting into Transformers hard body lately. Who is your all time favorite Transformer?
Marvin and the Road Runner are my favorites. My favorite Transformer is Jazz from the original cartoon. Who is your favorite Transformer?
@@PopCultureLivingRoom Jazz is pretty cool. I always gravitated towards soundwave & the constructicons. Soundwave is just iconic, it's a generic pick as everyone likes soundwave. Grimlock is another cool one.
Fun stream great time to be a collector🎉
Heck yeah it is! Thanks for watching the show!
How have the panels held up over time through different temperatures? The heavy use of tape for structure is concerning to me because I know adhesives tend to weaken under heat
Hi! The vinyl tape is still holding on strong on the acrylic panels. Thanks so much for watching!
I'm new here. Just curious. Why doesn't he blink? It's a bit unsettling.
Thanks so much for watching! I strategically edited out every blink. It makes the times I do blink that much more special.
Which 10th Doctor figure/figurine is this?
It's the Big Chief Studios 50th Anniversary Edition 10th Doctor. Thanks for watching!
at 45:05 looks like a disaster. The shelves don't look like the original boards. Idk but my shelf has at least 130lbs on it and it's still solid
I'm not sure what happened to that person's shelves. These garage shelves are super sturdy. Thanks for watching Don!
Is there any better/more profissional option than vinyl tape to finish the acrylic edges?
The only more professional way I can think of is spray painting the border on. I used vinyl tape because I was trying to mimic moducase which use vinyl for the border on their acrylic. Out of all the ways I've tried, I like the vinyl tape the best. I use specialized vinyl tape and not the ordinary electrical style vinyl tape. I am looking into using Permanent vinyl used on signs. If you have any other questions, I'd be happy to answer. Thanks so much for watching!
Loved this chat! Great work on the display case, Lumi. I’m also team waiting for Okoye. Hopefully one day 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Thanks Helen! Lumi is amazing. Now I have to figure out when to get you on the show.
This is the Atlas Grail Case i made the recommendation idea to input a rotating turntable. But then again it will take the light up base away. I guess you can have 2 different options. But I also see how you work, & I think you'll find a way to light up the rotating base as well.
I have some ideas Don. Hopefully I can make them work. Thanks for all your support. You rock!
Light display awesome!!
Thank you Don!
Q: What's the best way to hide the rear steel frame when the backing piece is behind it to keep the shelves adjustable? Can PopCultureLivingRoom please help to ask Michael Beck to please comment? His looks really neat!

🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for watching!
You should start selling these! Thanks for the video.
I wish I could. I wouldn't be able to be competitive with other companies because I cannot get the materials at wholesale at the moment. Maybe one day. Thanks for watching!
No more room--- I have to sell my collection to allow these new products.... I feel the hate! I'm about done with the iron man repaints---more new armour.
I love your collection. Don't sell the Star Trek ships. Thanks for watching Cat!!!
Ps Costa, they are the neca gremlins and super 7 simpsons
They look great!
Thanks so much for showcasing my cabinets and giving them so much praise! Couldn't have even thought about starting these without your videos. I've said it before, but I'll say it again: Costa, you are the man!
Showing off other people's display cases is one of my favorite things. You did an amazing job and have killer collection. Thank you for sharing!
The Live stream is so much better this week!!! Thumbs up to Costa!
Thanks Cat. Hopefully from here on out there are no issues. It makes doing a live build tutorial hard when I'm glitching.
1:06 --- Batmobile unboxing ---look underneath--- it is tied down for shipping!!! 1:07:23--- Light bulb! Costa-- you crack me up. That deserves a Steak and cheese sub!!!
LOL. I felt like such a dummy but I eventually got it.

Sorry to hear collecting hasn’t been fun for you lately, Costa. Enjoyed watching your unboxing these collectables that obviously mean so much to you.
Thanks Helen!
I realize this is a 2yr old video, but approximately how much did the materials cost?
I believe that cost $195 at the time .That will likely be different now. There are so many factors. Like. Where you live. If you have access to a place that sells acrylic versus Home Depot or Lowe's. If you decide to cut the aluminum yourself. Thanks for watching! If there's anything else I can help you with, let me know.
@@PopCultureLivingRoom thanks for the quick reply. Yeah even if it wasn't a few years I'd expect prices to be different. But it at least gives me an idea. I've got a spot behind my TV that I think a build like this would be good for. Love your videos

whats up costa! ABout the lights with the 8pk, will i be able to do 2 separate cases? As I'm only going to install 1 bar per shelf. I actually don't want each shelf super bright. Or does it come with just 1 main power plug that connects all of them. Also how are the lights holding up after 2 years, are they still as bright? And do we have to buy the extension cord for it? Thanks for the help.
Hi Don! If you are going to do 1 bar per shelf, I'd go with a 3ft shop light. It won't be as bright but will give you coverage of your shelf. Here is a 4pk of 3ft shop lights: amzn.to/4goLwoC Each light has its own power supply built in. Each comes with a plug and connectors to connect the lights in a chain. My lights are holding up great and it's been 3 and a half years. The display was built for months before I released the 1st video. I am changing the lights to fancier ones at the moment. That's what I'm doing on my current Saturday live streams. Hope this helps! Thanks for being a part of the channel.
Absolutely no need for the hubbub!😄
We only do hubbub here. Lol thanks for watching!
I apologize for the choppy and laggy video. I have the raw footage and will be cutting a video together of the live stream. Thank you for your patience.
Damn, I wish I understood this better because I’m trying to build ones just like this in different shapes and sizes for my movie props because I can never find ones that fit the props properly
What about it are you having trouble understanding? Maybe I can help. Thanks for watching!
Where did you buy that red couch, I want to get one too.
Hi! I got it from Etsy. They do not have the red at the moment but here is the link to the Etsy Shop: www.etsy.com/shop/DollRoomDecors?ref=yr_purchases Thanks for watching!
Wow, the metal and magnetic tapes are so expensive
Just checked Australian Amazon and boy you're right. It's $18 USD in Australia for the same magnetic tape we get here in the US for $12 USD. An the Metal tape is $20 USD for the same roll we here in the states pay $10 USD for. Crazy. Sorry mate.
How can you remove or re arrange your display with acrylic
To be able to rearrange shelves on the garage shelf, you would use one large piece of acrylic on the front and use one piece of fiberboard or PVC sheet attached from the back of the display. I decided to make 3 large sections because I wanted to hide the frame of the garage shelf better. The large sections also gave me options for vehicles or adding shelves or risers within the section (see my riser video or floating shelves video). This way I didn't have to move the shelves on the garage shelf. I hope I answered what you wanted to know. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to me. I'd be happy to help. How can I make something like this only to for around 4 figures and on budget
Hi! I can help with that. I need some additional info. What type of figures? 1/6? 1/12? What kind of budget? Are you in the U.S.? Thanks for reaching out! I love helping people out. Thanks so much for watching!
@@PopCultureLivingRoom yes 1/6, but only 3 or 4 figures coz I want to appreciate the figures, the cost is too much with v slots, how can I make a display like that where I can hang for cheaper. I’m in Australia
@@Unskilledcooking Email me @ popculturelivingroom@gmail.com. I need to know what budget you're looking at. This way I have a better idea of what can be done. Thanks again!
Thanks for the video, how does this fare with heavier things like resin statues? any tips on reinforcing the board/beam to make sure it dos not fall over? also acrylics sheets are expensive on my location, the cheapest I could find was a 1/16 inch thick.. would that suffice?
The shelves can handle statues very well. If you check out the tribute video on the channel, you will see a lot of statue collectors. If you want to reinforce the shelves, you can buy metal slats from Home Depot and put one in the middle of the shelf. Or, which I think works better, is you could switch out the particle board and use a piece of 24x48 pine board from Home Depot or Lowe's. It can be a 1/2" thick or you can do a full inch. I have a live build where I switch out a shelf from the garage shelf for a solid wood board. I will link them below. The 1/16" thick acrylic works fine. When it's own you can't tell the thickness. When you take it off the front, it will be a bit flimsy feeling which is fine. It will do what you need it to do. If you have any other questions, I'm here to help. Thanks so much for watching! This is just amazing!!!! Moducase now has competition with the CostaCase I freaking love it! The only thing is, and yes it will be an investment,,, but i have to buy all those damn tools. Costa, you're a hero without a cape.
Thanks Don! It gives people options. Depending on where you live, the supplies for making this case can be little more than a Moducase or a little less. But you won't have to wait. I'm in the process of making an update video for this case. Thanks for your support Don!
Is this the correct link to the expanded PVC that you use in this video it look like you said you had 96x48. All I see through the link is 24 x48 sheets
The full sheet of PVC is only available from a place that specializes in plastics and acrylic. Though recently I did see some on the Home Depot website but I'm not sure if they're available in every area. I added the links to the other PVC sheets on Amazon as an option for those not near a one of these places. You can find out if you have a place that specializes in plastic by doing a Google search of "acrylic sheets near me" and then check the map for all the locations that may specialize in the plastic. I live in the Philadelphia area so a place that I use is called Everything Plastic. You can use this as a reference. Let me know if you need help tracking down some PVC sheet. I have helped people find some in their area that wasn't crazy expensive. Thanks for watching and if you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to me. I'd be happy to help.
Great build, thought step 0 is converting everything to freedom units
Thanks so much for watching!
I believe my vinyl tape is 1&1/2 inch. Not 2''.. Did i mess up?
I used the 2-in vinyl tape when I'm making a border that's larger than an inch. So if you're going to make the border 1 inch then 1 1/2 inches is fine because you will have enough to fold over. I believe for this case I used 2-in vinyl tape for the top and bottom because the shelves were wider than the side frame. If you don't mind seeing a little bit of the shelf on the top and bottom of the acrylic then you should be good with the 1 1/2 inch vinyl tape. I am in the process of making a more in-depth tutorial for adding the vinyl tape perfectly to your acrylic but if you don't want to wait, I did a live build of adding vinyl tape with some really good tips and tricks that will be part of that video. The link is below. ua-cam.com/users/liveRHKx-ZOCIDw?si=QmY1AEkaL9tWSq-k
what kind of case is the DeLorean in?
Hi Don! The DeLorean is in a 24x36x72 in garage shelf.
@@PopCultureLivingRoom wow that is the garage shelf. Doesn't look like it. I like how you made that look putting the shelf sideways from your other shelf. Nice!!!
