Neil Diamond was my father’s favorite, we listen to Neil Diamond constantly and my father knew every word to every song sadly, he passed away February 16, 2012, but this brings me back to when daddy was still here!! so many memories, but not enough.. this one’s for you, daddy

Sometimes I wish I had stayed in some of the scenarios I found myself. Maybe life would have been more happy. Other times, I'm glad I said no and left. Inspiration can be a two-way street. I was born in 1960 Found Neil Diamond’s music when I was 13 and it’s been a great journey together. I’m 64 and still tear up with the songs. Thank you Mr. Diamond. ‘ play me’ is my most favorite but hell their all favorites.

Love this reminds me of my dad

Neil got me thru some rough times. What a songwriter, what a voice.

I first heard this song as a little boy when it was featured in a commercial for 101.9 Lite FM in Baltimore. They used it for years and I always thought it was a great song, even though I was into Def Leppard and The Smiths at the time. Those bands are still cool, but Neil Diamond is at another level and I now share him with my kids.
