Getting caught in an emotion causes the remembering of times in our lives where this emotion has controlled us. Breathing, forgiving yourself and whatever events have happened in your life to cause this perception allows you to embrace the moment and have confidence in the fact that everything has lead you here. All we have ever been is the present so it is up to us to believe in that and trust...

Yo, Gianni. I think its interesting to think about the types of activities that can bring both “not suffering/inner peace” and a sense of tangibility with life. Notably, I’m on a super chill island and, whereas once I had never really been a keen appreciator of nature, I found lots of solace here. Even when my cousins and I are merely walking to a certain destination, it brings peace and relief to just look at the sea, cliffs, and nature. While this is somewhat of an old-school and niche movement, I was reminded a lot of the lusitanian european movement of “arcadism”/“arcádia” It generally involves a few concepts which have been brought about later in modern philisophy, but here are a few: memento mori, aurea mediocritas, carpe diem and fugere urbem. Memento mori and carpe diem are more renowned, “remember you are mortal” and “live the moment”, but while these are more ample, aurea mediocritas and fugere urbem are somewhat more specific. “The beauty of mediocrity” aka the golden mean (aurea mediocritas) generally means to find beauty in the life that isn’t perfect, in the small and big inconveniences of life. I have a feeling you are aiming for something similar ~~ a life that isn’t perfectly “convenient” and “ideal”, because the truly ideal is the human experience which naturally involves suffering. I admit that this latin phrase was, in the context of arcadism, more meant to clash against the role of technology/urban cities and the way they stripped our life of some raw experiences. However, I do think it is still applicable analogically to the mental life ~~ in which one is the suffer-less life and the other the suffering life. As you said, there is beauty in the suffering. The other saying, fugere urbem, is at least how I’m now personally interpreting a solution, which is “leaving the urban”, or, perhaps, more connecting with nature. While I’m not in the phase of life where I can make aphorisms, I’d probably say something like “connecting with nature puts your mind in its natural state” or whatever. Its kind of the golden mean between connection to the real world and inner peace.

I guess I don’t necessarily mean this is the only way, but I think it is ‘a way’ to find both peace and beauty

sometimes to be alive is to just be comfortable being human; to just be raw and authentic-and sometimes that just requires letting experiences happen to you without trying to escape (because that would be escaping life itself).

I think it's just that the world doesn't feel new anymore as we age. And here's another really important thing We're never getting bigger, the world is just getting smaller. (it's just my theory) our perception of size is influenced by the size of our body, to a child, a refrigerator is twice their size but to a teenager, it's the same as their size, so the child perceives the refrigerator as really big but the teen doesn't, and even though the growth of the human body doesn't seem so significant, but our perception of how big the world is feels really significant, because even though your body only grows twice as big, but the entire world that you see also shrinks twice as small, and the smaller things are, the less impressive they become. And not to mention our perception of time, that is the older we get, the faster time goes, so we can't really appreciate the experiences in our lives as good as we used to.

I lack excitement in things I used to enjoy, it's beyond boredom at this point. Yes being bored is necessary but what if you can't get out of it anymore?

Perhaps you should explore new passions. Man can only eat cake for so many days in a row before he grows sick of it. While certainly frustrating, the feeling of extreme exhaustion could just be the push you need in order to dig deeper into yourself! One thing I try to do that helps me is to thank god for every experience I encounter, it is all part of the journey, and we must always have faith in that.

thank you for this. i'm 16 and i have been feeling like something is wrong in my life. like i decided to be more focused on my goals and everything but future doesn't excite me anymore. and the problem is: it seems boring to me. i just noticed that by your video and i guess i need to change this. idk how can i do that yet, but definitely i need this. i believe that everything we get is a sign and if i feel bored, this means i need to feel this boredom so that i can take some actions instead of scrolling or doing things for no reason and actually can FILL that emptiness. this really helped me, thank you so much again. hope you all a very nice day!<3

Hey Gianni, I really enjoyed your video. However, as a young adult here (24), I can't say life was boring at the end of my teenage years. It was awesome. As you said, I had all these things I had to discover about myself and it was indeed difficult to go through those times with all the responsibility. Maybe if you had asked me then I would've said: "I don't have fun as much, so maybe I'm bored". When I look back, life was full of routines and deadlines, but not boring. Here I am doing a PhD, and now life is so frustrating that I usually mistake it as hellish boring! Seems like you're a cheerful person. I wish you the best of luck on your journey!

    1. High street goes all the way up to Worthington and actually go further north just switches to a more strode like road. 2. There is actually a decent amount of history, definitely can be hard to find but many places just a lil younger than Cincinnati. I also think you should check out the “arena district” and the area around the public library and Columbus museum of art. Lastly in the summer the sioto mile is packed and well as many other parts of the city. Always there are always outdoor events happening downtown. But I think your rating is somewhat accurate, if you would see the city at a different time of the year and spend some more time there I feel it could go up a little. 🎉👍✌️💪
