@@davidrowland6735 if your phone is in reach of your dash cam you should be able to see what's going on. But you need to make sure that the dash cam has power as soon as the car is powered off that means also the dash cam is no longer functioning, only in emergencies

I agree, it is one thing to have the Starvis 2 but the image processing seems off and not as good as the Viofo 119 mini 2 IMO. It's too bad because the price is great and I like the suction cup mounting and the additional mount provided to easily carry it from 1 car to the other.

Super easy, I have to install and remove dash cams on almost a weekly basis. So what I do is I route the cables from the main dash camera over the mirror over the sun visor over the passenger side handlebars on the roof all the way to the back and plug them into the rear camera. So they're out of the way

@@dashcaminfo Actually, I managed to route the cable back to the rear hatch on my Honda CRV as you mentioned, and then removed the back molding on the rear hatch to get it routed properly. It was a bit of a pain in the keester, but looks great now that the work is done. Thanks for your reply.

You can flip it 180 with a video editing app, like DaVinci Resolve

I showed the original footage out of the camera. It the orientation bothers you, after downloading you can flip the footage easily in every video editing software.

@@dashcaminfo Thanks. Took a little time and chat line discussion to get oriented on this new application from DaVinci Resolve (i.e., Movavi 2025 Video Editor). Yes it works. And the free version allows the you to flip a video of up to 60 seconds in length. For longer videos you'd have to subscribe for a paid version. Whether free or a paid version, the flipped video will now show the annotated data appearing along the bottom of the screen backwards. Acceptable if you're good at reading mirror image text (i.e., backward text). Hopefully, Azdome will soon follow through on their commitment to issue updated firmware to correct for the cabin camera's annoying mirror image. Appreciate your efforts and the efforts of others who post UA-cam videos providing guidance on dash cam buying and operation. I have spent hours watching the various offerings.
