My Silent Symphony (B. Barberts - B. Rogona) from Chris & Peter Allen's Album #1 (Mercury, 1968). In 1959, Peter Woolnough joined with Chris Bell to form the Allen Brothers, a popular cabaret and television act in the early 1960s in Australia. The two boys were actively promoted as real-life brothers and the adopted surname remained with Peter for the rest of his life.

A song written by Angela Riela and Clint Ballard, Jr. In 1966 The Zombies recorded this song having heard it on a Dee Dee Warwick album. It was a single for them in 1966, with "The Way I Feel Inside" on the B-side.

Following the demise of the group, 1970 saw the Shulman brothers form Gentle Giant.

I grew up listening to his records. It's interesting how they're dancing to such a sad love song.
They had "Go-Go" dancers in the back ground of most teen music shows. Being individual performers they would not have been able to slow dance so I suspect the producers had them do that. If you look closely, you'll see some couples slow dancing.
I have noticed that video clips posted a long time ago on YT have gotten blurrier and blurrier. Does anyone know why?
My heart really gets strucked, especially each time, when i hear Del Shannon yelling out the haunting notes of the last few bars of the song, as the image in this video slowly fades away, while seeing his handsome poster in the background. What a shame. It's so sad...a big tragic! end in the history of a Rockabilly Legend! ❤❤

My father was born on the first of october în 1950 în Romania and many years before to die, he told me of a gorgeous world in his teenage, and I've always felt about, as something only permitted to those young people. In the 90's he was already dissapointed by everything in the world and I couldn't understand him by then. But now, when I see how's the world going on, I only think of my father and I cry myself inside me: he was the only man in my life, but I didn't know It very well. Now It's too late to change everything. He died, victim of comunism, alcohol, and the lack of love and comprehension in his life. Poor my father. Too late I've understood him. But at least, I' ve understood him and I've forgave him, because of his bad behaviour with my mother and I. I LOVE❤ You Dad, wherever You are!!! Daniela❤❤❤

Your father was maybe just too good and what disappointed with humanity and unfortunately I can understand him very well unfortunately humanity has no respect anymore and behaves worse than animals. However, i would never poison myself because other people are not good, but spend much more time with my family and feed on love and also give a lot of love, but every person deals with grief differently. You seem to be a good person and that is the result of your father and mother. May your father rest in peace❤️

In the 80's, when I was 3 o 4 years old, he took me on bicycle rides, often singing "oh my darling, oh my darling, oh my darling Clementine!..." Now, I'm 46 and I remember him, above all, as a very nice and decent man, so lonely, and so sad, so misunderstood, that I just fell miserable for being too young that time to be able to rescue him somehow. Taking good care of one's parents while they're still alive, trying to understand them, that's all proof of love, wisdom and humanity. Long live our dear parents!!!...❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
