Why I Lease Purchase vs. Buying My Truck
Most jobs even careers are dead end jobs even those that you can get into "specialized" positions...
@@SalsHQ I won’t disagree with you on that but hopefully the job chosen can be fulfilling at some point. 💪🚛💨💨💨
@@TheLoneWolfTrucker the job might be very fulfilling, then we must deal with the supervisors with their little tedious ways, their biases & strange treatments, plus the favoritism & brown nosing politics that make many workplaces a stress... If you can be stress free & that workplace is fulfilling & pays better than average, that's almost a "I am lucky" situation worth the stay.
@ indeed… 💪🚛💨💨💨
Well I grew up in the trucking industry been in trucks since the 1960 -1970 did some temporary work in late 1970s been around lots of truck drivers ( my father drove ) I started full time in the 1980s all the trucking companies I saw as a kid and when I started my full time job those trucking companies closed doors or another company bought them out even my 1st company closed doors.trucking is not a secure job anymore it's a very dirty business

Hey brother, healthy advice stay off social media for a while, do local night shift, take advantage of learning something new during the day, and then transition from trucking, hit the gym, take care of you mental health, being isolated in that truck would make you take crazy decisions , you got this 💪
@@jesushernandez-bo2tq sound advice… Anymore of this isolation and I may have to get myself committed to the psych ward 💪🚛💨💨💨
All says Trucking business gone 44 years ago in 1980 when Jimmy Carter deregulated trucking industries
1. Trucking can solve your problems. You already had a career you had things going but guy like me graduated high school then got a job at a warehouse. So when I left at 21 and went driving it solved my problems at the moment.
@@kingriik1447 I wasn’t talking about monetary problems in my video. I was talking about personal problems. Trucking can’t solve those my friend! 💪🚛💨💨💨

I dont like hearing divorce stories... they all seem to have the common denominator of "I'm just not happy". Happiness is not something to be found. Its not like treasure you discover... it is something you build, or at least thats my interpretation from the Good Book. When someone has left you bc they are "not happy" it means they've given up on you, and the idea of the family bc they are done with you and dont think you are worth it. They have only been 'tolerating' you. Tolerance is not love. It is a silent contempt. It is a choice to let things be despite disagreements, just to maintain some kind of false image of normalcy while declining to debate/argue/converse to help you improve or gain a deeper understanding. It is giving up on a person and the relationship without ever taking responsibility for having done so. Hope things work out for you. Lay low, stay focused, and pray everyday.

@@TC2020-w8u I’m not a big fan of Robert Kiyosaki however the information on the cash flow quadrant is not a con
Long term trucking is for certain individuals. Most normal guys can’t do it their whole lives. Being in a truck for a long time alone with your thoughts will definitely make you reflect on life. Plus a lot of these broads aren’t worth a damn probably pure luck if you get a good woman … just my thoughts .

After all those years in real estate you didn't get 10-50 rental properties? Why would you have to drive a truck? Make it make sense? I agree trucking is dead end

@TheLoneWolfTrucker That's tough brother
@ indeed
This channel needs to be shut down immediately. Let me be harsh and blunt. The reality it sounds like you a weak minded person that needs they handheld and read a book for guidance. That’s not manly. I’ve been in the trucking industry for almost 5 years and own two trucks paid for, I’m also leased on and grossing almost a half 1 million a year with this so called terrible rates…so stop putting your down falls and negative energy on something you can’t do let the real men stay ten toes down 🫡
I hate how people come on here yapping about their gross and their equipment paid off but leased on. What is your profit margin after taxes? No one RARELY EVER mentions that!
@@harlemstatus9420 based on your comments you just read video titles and don’t actually watch the videos. Why even bother to comment if you just going to talk shit and miss the whole point of the video?? So go ahead and put in the request for UA-cam to shutdown my channel. Two trucks and a half million in revenue? Self-proclaimed success story huh? 😂 I call bullshit. Your owner op business model is flawed and you can’t back up your numbers with an actual balance sheet. I doubt you have the capacity to run a successful business, if so you would be making better use of your time then wasting it watching my video and missing the whole point. Do yourself a solid and actually listen to the content of the video if you plan on bumping your gums down in the comment section. Real men stand ten toes down on business not bullshit 🫡
@@ChamblesMoore I call bullshit. If he actually knew what a balance sheet was he wouldn’t be yapping about his numbers in the comments 😂
@@TheLoneWolfTrucker I think they like to say these “big” gross numbers to remain delusional that they’re going to fail eventually because of the things you mentioned specifically “0 customer base”.
@ excellent observation

I was a truck driver for 4 years. I realized trucking was dead end career. I left trucking and became a police officer, one of the best decision I’ve made. I now have a pension, and make close to 100k a year. If you don’t have any felonies look into law enforcement or working in public service. It’s a pretty stable career, and your home with family.

To be honest, trucking might not be for you. I started with melton last March and I believe I’m doing very good. I’m able to pay books back home, care for 3 kids, and save on the side. I do manage money well and keep my expenses to a minimum. Soon I will be going over to ats to advance to the heavy hauling side of trucking. I think the key to trucking is saving to purchase a truck cash and go from there. In the end, I wish you well my brother and hope you find your niche ✊🏾✊🏾
@@hwalk51 thanks for the feedback… 💪🚛💨💨💨
How much Melton paying and where you live? Don’t answer that😂😂😂
@@daivdbrown10 they start at 53 cents a mile and I stay in Texas. I run a minimum 4 weeks at a time and do pretty good (for my living situation). But I know there are other companies that pay more. Plus I haven’t been in trucking for a whole year yet. March makes a year
Why would you let go of youre real estate career? Guessing the divorce forced it? If it were me id start a new real estate career. With the knowledge and connections you've had you could start fresh and still make it work.
@@srharris88 I already achieved above and beyond what I set out to achieve in real estate. those achievements and success in real estate cost me my family as I mentioned in the video. I have no desire to continue down that path without a purpose. The whole purpose was my family.
@@TheLoneWolfTrucker I cant really understand that, but I respect it. I have worked in the trades my entire adult life. There are days i HATE IT. Its a major grind and time suck, leaving little for time for ANYTHING including family. The goal (which I have not yet achieved) is to get to where I do less and less over time while the business mostly runs itself and still pays well. My reason for not understanding it, is if you reached the ultimate goal, of having less of your own time invested and still making good money from it, isn't that what you were looking for? Maybe its something in real estate that i don't understand? In my trade, i want to be able to bid jobs, do the accounting and maybe some small errands from time to time (preferably on my own watch). Employees do the rest. Myself, I'm motivated by making money the job is just the vehicle to do so. Keep your eyes on the prize!
