Beautiful Work!
Beautiful work! Luv the end! Precious.
Beautiful work!
*Never trust anyone that makes that bad of a hair choice or wears a booger ring*
Still love this video XD
Does anyone why my break down pin wont go fully in
Great..how to on a great weapon.very well done..
Perfect video thanks.
brilliantly done! I love it. I ordered today my first BarkRiver with this sheath.
Damn. Such a well thought out, well executed little handy blade. I want one
Check out " Paulo Suett Knives". the Boot dagger is nice i'd have the handle pointed up though for the just in case it were to come out & having faster access to pulling it out
A nice a simple process and clean work. I'm just starting out and watching this method really nailed it. I'm going to definitely include this in my hilt work. Thanks bro!
Matt I missed you at the September grind on I hope you're well.
Reassembling the slide release into the notch was getting on my last nerve, until you brought out the fact that there is a spring in the detent (had to look that word up). I used your method of a ballpoint pen to push it in, and whaddayknow! Thank you for such a detailed video, and hope all is well with you in the 10 years since making this video.
I will never understand why makers put recurve edges on tactical knives…. Harder to sharpen properly and no more effective than a regular edge… seals, marines and military personnel almost never have to use hand to hand knife fighting in live battlefield situations…. 58 hrc…. Nope.. s30v nope…
10 years later this is still best UA-cam video on disassembly & reassembly. It helped me put back together 1911 5”Springfield “Loaded” with full length guide rod.
Me too, this was my 911 emergency video to help me put my Loaded back together yesterday 😂😂😂😅😅😅
Great job, thank you
Love the attitude of if I make you a better knife maker it forces me to be a better knife maker. Fixin to do my first brass guard glad I found your video. Thank you.
As a new owner of this model, I really thank you for this video!
Glad it helped! Thanks!
You got me on that last statement. It’s awesome that you’re willing to share information to better the craft as a whole. Subscribed. Thank you for a detailed video.
Excellent video. Very helpful.
Its NOT a weapon...... Its a Firearm!!
late to the party, your knives ROCK!
Thanks so much!! I looked at several and your video was the only one to go through the whole process with the non GI guide rod. I had to go out and buy a bushing removal tool because the bushing was so tight. I do not think my Father ever took it down to clean it, so was original from when Springfield Armory custom shop put it together in 2006! The tool allowed me to swivel clockwise, but I still had to man handle it to get it out when going to the right. So after 3 days, a trip to the store and several videos, I finally took it apart and back together and ran a few clips through it. Smooth as butter - what I nice gun!
I like this design should consider making a folder version of this in a 8¼ oal length I really like the choil would definitely make a cool folder .
Dude THANK YOU. Finally, the best video for us new gun owners
I’ve owned my Springfield Armory 1911 Loaded for over a year and a half picking it up in December 2019. I still need to refer to a UA-cam such as yours to disassemble and assemble. This is very well done and highly appreciated by quite a few of us proud owners of Springfield Armory 1911’s Loaded .45 ACP… 👍🏼😎
Stabby goodness. VV
Very good explanation of takedown.
Solid video man, thanks for sharing. Great stuff
I have one of these " loaded" Springfields. It's not any more accurate than my Colt series 70 was, although it is stainless, cooler looking( except for the forward serrations which are for weak-handed quears) and a bit more reliable except for the dimming radioactive cancer sights. Disassembly is a pain! I had no trouble as a teenager with the series 70. If Colt made decent guns that would be my choice, but they don't-and neither does Kimber.
Post a link to your website, I'd love to see the pistols you build!
what type of solder you use.
Stay Brite solder with Stay Clean flux
@@VehementKnives , Is it silver solder?
@@aldogressa6708 yes.
I've soldered a few guards, but none with this result, nice work brother keep it up I have a lot to learn and hope to get this result after seeing this video, much love and respect for sharing this, its important for up and comers to learn the right way to do things, and your knowledge is priceless to the knife making community, I'm also going to buy the Bob Loveless book that you mentioned, wasn't even aware there was one, thanks again take care.
Great Vid dude! Very informative.
I’m a CARPENTER by trade(finish and rough) and have a eye for detail and can do almost anything and everything but building my own knife I have not..looks fun!!!Your attention to detail is very good!!I own about 20 BARKIES and yet to get a true VEHEMENT,I have the RECONDO which is a calab between yourself and mike Stewart..keep up the good work!!!MICHIGAN ROCKS!!
Great way of doing that - thank you so much for sharing that ! ! !
Now get the hoover out!
Modern vs Modern I’m a tool steel over stainless type guy, so long as the tools steel has some chrome, like 3V or D2 or cru-wear It’s plenty of stain resistance, even old school 52100 Iv never had problems with rust if cared for after use
Awesome! Thanks for the input!
I think 52100 is my favorite for a high performance cutter with a thin keen laser edge, with a lot of stability even at high hardness, and I’m from southeast alaska where it’s salty and rainy!!
hey im trying to get my hands on a simian, where can i?
Join our FB group The Vehement Syndicate for info on where to get knives. Thanks!
Should you field strip your new 1911 and make sure it’s properly oiled? I’m buying one soon and trying to get all the info I can.
Awesome!🤘😎
Love it 🇺🇸
Its been awhile since I took my Springfield Loaded to the range and I also found your video to be spot on when I field stripped my pistol for cleaning. One question for you sir......did your pistol come from factory with those adjustable bomar style rear sights ? I 've never seen a Springfield Loaded 1911 with those rear sights. Mine came with the low profile three dot Novak non adjustable sights in 2016. I have seen those adjustable sights on the range officer models but never on a loaded model. Just curious. Thanks again for a video that I have saved to my favorites for future reference.
I think this is the range officer 1911 from Springfield.
Great work, Great video!! thank you!!!
