Great video - I've just stumbled across. You have a clarity of sound that I didn't have. Did you use the small TRS wire adaptor or did you use the normal TRRS and plug straight into the GoPro? It didn't work for me - no voice whatsoever.

Sounds good to me! Purple panda is my go to mic for my gopro helmet setup. Might finally semi retire my Hero4 and go with a black 9 and a zoom h5 with the panda for sound. Thanks for the video demo, subbed.

I bought the Pro 3.5mm mic adapter for my GoPro 9 and its not picking up my purple panda mic lmao. I guess I have to go with the media mod

I have it set up as it should be, PP mic to TRS adapter to GoPro but all I get is static? Any know anything about this?

I have the GP Hero 9, mic adaptor and Purple Panda mic like yourself and am just starting to learn how to use them. I don't know all this connector terminology like TRS2. I used them the first time by plugging the mic into the mic adaptor, and the adaptor into the GP. Got NO audio whatsoever. I tried changing the mic setting on the GP to the "+" option which apparently increases the audio by 20db. That didn't seem to do anything. Then, I noticed that the PP mic plug has four sections on it - why, I don't know. And there's an adaptor cord that came with the PP that has only three sections on its male end. So I plugged the male end of the PP into the female end of that adaptor, and then plugged the three section male end of the adaptor into the GP mic adaptor. This time, I got audio, but it was horribly muffled despite it being right in front of my mouth during filming. Now I'm wondering if the "+" setting is the culprit. Any advice? I know I have everything I should need, but it is hard to get connected to make it work. The GP forum as not helpful so I am seeking people with similar rigs. Thanks!

I have the exact set up, but getting no sound from the purple mic. Did you use another adapters provided from purple panda like a TRS 2-rings? Please help, thanks!
