I render different songs at the same time (same album) via region render, is there any way to insert different metadata for each song or do i need it one by one. Edit: I already find out how. In Title you can write the wildcard "$region" and every render will take the name of the region (you must name each region as the title of the song) also you can use "$regionnumber" in the Track field so each song will have its track number.

The great thing about Tukan plugins is that you can get free versions of very expensive plugins you wouldn't get otherwise. Such as the Green Dynamic EQ or the Blacklight modulation. The pultecs, 1176, LA-2As, Lexicon Reverbs and Tape Recorder have many different simulations in the market, but they're usually all paid, so there's great value there. Plus, I think the Sphinx (a "de-noser") and the Delay Machine are great "own additions" from Tukan you can't really find anywhere else. They're all "Reaper plugins", so no reason to not treat them as stock plugins for regular use. Great, great addition to the DAW.

sometimes i have one shots of drums that clip after i drag them in, even if i normalize to 0db peaks it doesnt change that. I dont know what im doing wrong; track, item, and take volume were all at 0db, no effects and still clipping i just turned down the take volume myself

This 3 step is invaluable Gold, for a commitment to dedication. As an (analogue) X-gener I've been wrestling w Reaper Daw (vs.6.6) for alt home recording, and recurringly hitting the skids, w it's Overwhelming maze of options overload. Great tips, to break through. And like how you keep it real, and avoid the usual U tube gig hype. Just discovered.

Didn't hear you say, you need to change the track channel from the default 2 to 4, in the routing dialog.

I dragged a track from a CD into Reaper (70's british glam rock), -5.3 RMS, +0.3 peak. I'm scratching my head. Master level is way up into the red, yet it sits at 0.0, mostly. How did they get those levels on vinyl?
