Hot take First I wanna say, Fiona Shaw deserves more praise for her amazing performance. Onto the hot take. They shouldn’t be end game. They are horrible for each other. V has done unspeakable horrors and destroyed E’s life. I wish E killed V actually, i wanted a “dying in my arms” scene where she remembers Bill. And. I wanted even more chaos, they are gasoline and fire, I wanted *more* crazy-tho I loved the intimate, gentle moments of them together, which we should’ve got and did get. One of my favorite storylines is when V faces her own psychopathy. Was I born this way? Probably not. While she tries to better herself, not necessarily to be a good person, but to be better, E is losing herself. She *has* to embrace her darkness to survive in her new life. THIS ISNT A GOOD THING. As someone not straight, I’m sick of everyone in this community romanticizing toxic relationships. Yes it’s fun, their dynamic is hilarious and wild and amazing, and that’s why it’s TV, but IT’S NOT GOOD. Attraction is just that, attraction, and maybe love did blossom, but under duress. THIS IS NOT GOOD. Why is everyone acting like they’re going to settle down with a white picket fence and have three kids? It’s not in V’s character, and it’s not in the character E has become. That’s the irony, they can’t have what they want. This show is shocking, the beauty of it is the quiet moments among the shock, but let’s not pretend they’re a fairytale. I acknowledge the writing in the fourth season wasn’t perfect. V hallucinating herself as Jesus was strange. K’s death was poetry, 5/5.

Fiona Shaw deserves more kudos for her work on this show, she was amazing.

I wasn't disappointed by the ending. I can understand why the characters lead to that place but few pieces of entertainment so thoroughly involve you emotionally and dare to so deeply let you down. Usually when there's death, there's something edifying about it even if an ending is sad and I don't even want to say the ending was bad but the emotional response it must create is really one of great sadness. As frustrating as it is, I also don't see the show being able to conclude with a happy ending even if the book did.

Whats the lore behind this?

..to me the "Gunn" character was over exposed and annoying. How could V and her become "buddies" after being shot in the back by an arrow?

Hi I love this series and I'm so sad that it was cancelled last year it doesn't make sense because the decision was at the beginning but it was already successful Netflix lost a potential masterpiece😢😭💔

The way they dressed Eve is such typical (old) Asian, even some of her gestures. Production said: they needed an American to co star for the Villanelle character? Sandra's Canadian!!!!

They cut so many scenes that's supposed to be with Villanelle in it, and decided to put the girl named Pam (useless character)!

I was never satisfied with the ending but very satisfied of how Comer and Oh portrayed their characters, what a versatile actresses!✨🙌🏻💖 Damn, we deserve a happy ending atleast.

She finds her freedom. Freedom of it all. And that's what we really wanted for her. And it was executed so well. Best thing I've ever observed, even more so cus I related to it so strongly. Will always hold a huge place in my psyche. You can't express it with words. although some how these writers did and had the discipline to not make it the conventional happy ending. And despite the pain. I wouldn't have it any other way and just thank god she isn't real. but instead lives on as a character Integrated as a hidden understanding by Jodie Comer. God she made that character so real. And the artistic flare. and the depth of understanding and perfection in releasing her, for one moment just at the end. I just can't. Like I actually. Speechless. And watching Sandra clearly change not just as a character but a person like she say. Killing eve is so much more. Something more special than just a series. Like pure Art of a generation. It pulls so many beautiful things together, the most special things, in such a special way, and that's really defines killing eve from my perspective. Indescribably beautiful. I love incredible pieces of art. Frick but seriously, my gut told me she was supposed to die, but I just hate it. so full of life, it's just a fricking shame. (maybe she survived haha)

SEASON 4 MESS UPS: - Villanelle seeing & speaking to herself as Jesus. What was that? A hallucination because now she’s developed a mental illness? Or was it just some playful comedy for the viewers at home? It wasn’t funny & it was so ridiculous. - Villanelle killing the twelve all at once by herself yet she didn’t have a gun or any struggle. 1 person against 12 people? Not even the world’s best assassin could do that with or without a weapon. So ridiculous (again). - Eve having so much hatred towards Villanelle even though at the end of season 3 they were so close & gentle with each other. Where did this sudden animosity come from? No explanation at all. - The whole ‘Villanelle turning to Christianity’ & completely changing her style & character wasn’t right. There’s a reason we love Villanelle so much, so to take everything away from her character that makes her so loveable in the first place just ruined it for the viewers. If I watch it back there’s LOADS more. But off the top of my head those are the first ones that spring to mind. All in all I am GUTTED at season 4’s ending (& the whole season in general). But I loved season 1, 2 & 3.

I never watched KE until literally two weeks ago, its been a long time since i've been this in love with a series, but that ending... I just couldnt, I've been actually fuming for days with how it ended, I think Netflix in the UK did us all a favor by only having the first 3 Seasons on there, they knew!, I should have stopped after their finale on the bridge. Seeing how many people are severely disappointed by the final season is cathartic to say the least even if im late to the party, what a waste!
