Wow, really helpful! I struggle to use my height to my advantage. I've been thinking of doing longer steps at a competition for a long time, but I always felt that I run slower when doing it. Will try
You're welcome! Let me know how it goes 😊
What is the best 100m to 400m spikes?
I don't think it's a one size fits all, it honestly depends on you, your feet, and your preferences.
Thank you

Should I be thinking of my foot hitting the ground straight down, or with maximum backward speed at the ankle / heel? That is, more like an A Skip or B Skip. When I’ve looked at elite race video, their strides often look more like A’s than B’s to me. I think it’s similar to the question about the optimal relative focus between generating vertical vs horizontal force.
Personally, I would say focus more on the downward force. If you focus on pushing backwards, a lot of times, you end up staying on the ground too long and having too much heel recovery at the back.
Balls are great for tight shoulders too
Great reminder, thank you!
One video on normal spikes and carbon fibre spikes 100m timing
Good idea 💡... maybe not over 100m, though, if I'm going to do the test in training.
Sister I'm a new athlete which spikes I buy carbon fibre spikes or normal spikes and pls share a spike name or brand
@@artanddrawing8370if you are new to sprint, it would be better to go for normal spikes. Later, when you have good form, move to carbon plate. Because carbon spikes are expensive, and usually more aggressive to the body, you can use normal spikes during training, and the carbon ones for races.
First things first: awesome cap! 🙌🙌 Second, welcome to the carbon club sis! 😃
Hehe 😋 thanks bro 🙏🏾😊
W video keep up the good work
