Lucky us for being handicapped? Are you nuts? We had to book 3 years in advance because those rooms are next to impossible to book, and it's never "lucky" to have to use a wheelchair.

Think your comments are way off base and saying CO is not worth it is wrong. We booked 4 upcoming HAL cruises and had upgraded balcony rooms on all. At the minimum the CO benefits were 'free' when looking at the respective cabin upgrade. Based on your comments, the CO rest. (on Pinnacle Class) is inferior to MDR. I find it hard to believe that suite passengers would accept this disparity. You also made it sound as if it was easy to book a prime (ie. window) table in MDR- never found this task easy. On an earlier video you said to avoid all cabins in the front of the ship- we've been on a bunch of HAL cruises where we enjoyed these cabins with their relative quiet. You don't point out that CO is less on cruises of 14 days or over which can make the relative fare savings even greater. We frankly would not do a Pinnacle class HAL cruise without CO.

You have no idea what you're talking about! I LOVED having the Club Orange, and the benefits definitely outweigh not having it. I personally witnessed so many people standing in line and I also loved the expanded specialty menu. For example, I can say that having to leave the cabin in the mornings to get salmon and fresh berries is a hassle if you just want to wake up and get the expanded menu delivered to your room anytime without having to walk out. I can see that you are not a Foodie and don't know what specialty dining is. I will never not travel without getting the Club Orange and this video is not accurate or credible. Your portrait in this video leaves you seem jealous of people who have the Club Orange.

A few years ago we cruised on Holland America to Alaska. Our travel agent suggested a rear facing stateroom. That way we could view the various glaciers that were on either side of the ship. She was right. We had a great view all the time - regardless of direction. We did hear a little more water sounds whenever we were under way. But they were relaxing for us. If we can, we will reserve a rear facing stateroom again on our next cruise.

We were on the HAL Eurodam on a 10 day Caribbean Cruise. We always book an inside cabin guaranteed so that we can afford to travel 13 weeks a year. HAL upgraded us to a Oceanview cabin (1004) that was adjacent to the main theater and underneath one of the music venues. We heard nothing in the room except on the mornings that the ship was docked, we heard a hatch open, maybe less than 15 seconds two or three days during the cruise. Yes, being on Deck 1 was inconvenient going to teh Lido. However, it was 35 steps from the main theatre, 50 steps to the elevator and honestly, how many people really walk steps?

If we are in Puerto Vallarta and buy a bottle of spirits, such as Tequila, can we bring it back on board with us??

I don't see how they can put Wella T28 in the silver family. This is the 3rd t28 video I've watched and all of them turned out like this, which hasn't looked good on anyone so far. Going to go for T14 mixed with 050 to get a more silvery blond I'm looking.. (currently about to go to sleep with banana yellow hair.) 😂😂 I have T18 but a test strip showed I would not be happy with the coverage, my hair isn't pale enough yellow for it to tone away the yellow completely.

I have been using PCs for years and recently bought an iMac but I too am finding the transition difficult. I agree that snipping pictures and saving pictures is much easier on the PC, unless I am doing something wrong, which is very possible. Do they actually make a 16 inch MacBook Air? A mouse should work on a Mac or is it just an Apple Magic Mouse that will work on it? Also where did you get a 16 inch MacBook Air for $600?

Great points. Definitely some areas where MacOS needs polish. Apple has been more focused on mobile and accessories the past decade.

Having used both Windows and Mac machines for decades, I appreciate their unique strengths. As the owner of a 16" MacBook Pro, and someone who builds PC gaming desktops for fun, I find myself in both ecosystems. Rather than declaring one superior, it's essential to recognize that the choice depends on various factors. Both operating systems have advantages and disadvantages, and your preference may hinge on your specific needs, applications, skill level, and ecosystem preferences. Both can in most cases get the job done. Of course, there are exceptions. I work in the tech field and our mechanical engineering team needs Windows to run SolidWorks (CAD) at the level they need. Some of our software team say that coding on a Mac is better than a PC, the accounting/finance team much prefers Windows, and some people just don't care which OS they use.

The Mac vs pc really doesn’t matter these days. It’s all preference unless you’re a gamer. This isn’t a very useful review when pro/con is weight. Like there’s NO WAY someone’s saying the MacBook AIR is too HEAVY. also the trackpad is one of the best in the laptops these days.

It took me about a year to become completely comfortable using a Mac, after decades of using Windows. But now that I know how to use a Mac properly (and I’m still learning more everyday) I would never go back to Windows. The Mac beats Windows computers in quality and tech support. Speed is dependent on the computer you’re using. An old MacBook, for example, won’t be faster than most new Windows computers and a MacBook Air with the minimum specs is not going to be as fast as a Mac Studio or even the MacBook Pro. You may not understand the technology, or even want to, but what machine you buy, no matter what it’s running, is important. My ten year old MacBook is still in great shape with no cracks or scratches. The materials it’s made of are far better than any Windows computer I’ve ever used except maybe the Panasonic Toughbook which I don’t think they make anymore. Macs last way longer and don’t have to be replaced as often as Windows computers. I agree that they’re heavy. All laptops are. That’s why I travel with an iPad. My main home computer is now a Mac Mini Pro desktop hooked up to two monitors. I could easily add a third . It has plenty of ports. I use a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard which, with the touch of a button, work with both computers and my iPad. I could probably connect the keyboard to my iPhone and AppleTV. Microsoft 365 apps all work fine on my Mac. I don’t need many tools because they all came with my Mac. You do need to get third-party tools to do windows and file management on a Mac, but they’re less than $15. You can also run Windows and Linux from a Mac, but you can’t run all three from a Windows computer. It’s too bad you didn’t have someone who knew how to use a Mac to help you with switching over. You also need to account for all the muscle memory you’ve built up if you’ve been using Windows for years. It’s never easy to use one operating system for work and another at home, but don’t give up on your Mac just yet. One problem with the Mac is that a lot of great features are hidden. On the other hand tech support is fabulous and free. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes for phone support even without Apple Care. If something breaks, you can take it to the nearest Apple Store.

to quickly rename a file in macOS you just click to select the file and then hit 'return'. Type the new name and hit 'return' again

I use both as well, but I think you need to learn how to use the Mac better. For one, I don't use the photos app. If you have any images in there, then yes you will have to export them out. But all the editing you're talking about like cropping or making adjustments, you can do all of that within the photos app. All the settings are in the top right. But if you just have all your photos in a folder in your hard-drive instead of photos, then it would function exactly how it does on Windows. As for pressing Command instead of Control. I don't use the fingers you're trying to use. I use the thumb to press Command and it is very simple to press C or V. If you try to press it with your ring or pinky finger, then use it will be a bit weird. It makes more sense to press it with your thumb though since it is already likely on the space bar. You just slide it over 1 key to Command. The screenshot thing also don't make sense. I use that snippet feature on Windows too, but it's actually faster on a Mac once you know the hotkeys. So for example press Cmd + Shift + 4. Then highlight a part of the screen you want to screenshot. Once you do that, a little preview appears on the bottom right. Click it. From there you can edit it and annotate it directly from there. If you want, you can copy and paste it somewhere. Or you can just click done and it is saved. You don't even have to use Skitch. Also, the Mac you have supports 2 external monitors. I have the same one and use 2 monitors on it all the time. You can connect on to HDMI and then you need to connect the other one to DisplayPort using one of the USB-C ports. It doesn't mirror. You can have them as separate displays. Press Opt + F1 to change the display settings to make them not mirror. I think you need to sit down with a Mac Power User and tell them all the shortcomings you're finding, and they will show you how to do it efficiently.

Is this for real? I'm a Windows and Mac user and use both about the same percent of the time and from the sounds of it, your doing everything on Window AND Mac the wrong and most inefficient way. However, I'm glad you're happy and that's all that really matters. Great video.

OMG...if both PC and MAC, merged together, covering both of their "cons", you'd have the perfect machine. But as it is...the best one is, the operating system you enjoy the most, and that is...PC (windows).

We have the Birch color. A dark gray seat and a cream shade and we get a lot of compliments on it! We haven’t had any issues. I wanted the Hazelwoood but I was worried about the color especially with blow outs.

Your hair wasn't light enough for the T28. It is an icy white. Should be used with pale yellow hair. I think you should have used one of the darker toners because your hair was lifted to between an orange and yellow.

I looked up the various cruises and deck plans on the Holland America site or you can just Google it. Deck 2 is a plaza deck and has the world stage and musical venues and pinnacle grill; and deck 3 is world stage, casinos, shops, etc. Deck 4 has a lot of triple and double rooms for staff members. I believe most of the staff on the cruise ship stay in multiple occupancy, twin bed/sofa bed on deck 4. We stayed midship deck 8 and loved it. We did not have much sway at all, and had great balcony views (for our exterior room choice). Of course, you are not under the pools when you’re midship. Midship is where you want to be if you get motion sickness. From deck 8 we went upstairs only 1 floor above to access the pools or Lido market dining areas, so it was very easy to walk down the hallway and go up the stairway. I think Deck 8 would be great for those with mobility issues. We could also easily access deck 10 for kids club, and to go out outside. This was for Holland America eurodam, and I believe the Rotterdam in Europe is similar. The eurodam is very dated and dark and the Rotterdam shows you how the same ship layout can be very modern, clean and cheerful.

I met one of these fellas for the fist time in the park yesterday. His owner told me what he was and I agree with the video. He was very cute & calm and did not mind me patting his coat, which was very soft. She told me that he was ten years old today, so I said happy birthday! She was very pleased that I showed some interst in him. He looked very bright and fit for somebody who is 70 in dog years! Thanks for the video! 😀

They should have water stations on the lower levels so youndont have to go all the way to deck 9 for it

Shades EQ is specifically designed to be "deposit only." It deposits a shade on top of what you already have....so you can stay the same level OR go darker, but it will never make it lighter and isn't at all supposed to. To lighten your hair, no toning alone product will work. You need either a high lift permanent color or lightener (bleach).
