The thing people forget is that she wasn't just acting super insecure any random guy, she was this way around a man who went OUT OF HIS WAY to make her feel inferior and poked and prodded every area of her heart that hurt the worst. I've been with a Big thankfully earlier in life, and I was so insecure and paranoid around them, more than I had ever been before or after. You know why? Not because they were exceptional or anything but because they were manipulative and so deeply insecure they had to make sure to make others feel smaller so that they could feel bigger. Carrie's Big-gest (heh heh) problem was that she kept going back to him, but tbf he would also swoop in whenever she'd start to move on, tormenting her. Been there too. It's horrible. I had to go into complete hermit mode, quit my job and work night shifts and completely start over to get him out of my head, heart, and life, and finally move on.

He just wasn't that into her and never hid that, he liked beautiful young models... Superficial, yes for sure... But it doesn't make him a villain, maybe just a bit of an 🍑hole, but at least an honest one... Treat someone like a star and they treat you like a fan, I don't blame Big... It was too easy for him, the way she lived in her own lala land with no comprehension of reality... I think she's toxic as hell... Abusive, childish, dessilusional, selfish, insecure, a cheater, spoiled, destructive and manipulative... And I could go on, but I won't..... 😅

I think it’s quite simple and it comes down to who you’re drawn to. Because although Harry didn’t physically meet her standards, she was very attracted to him, however he still met her standards in every other way such as education and earning.

Carrie did the same stuff with Aiden. She was also a broke, in-debt writer living in New York who looking for a man as her economic end game. I think we can examine her treatment of her friends to see the full picture. Unfortunate the cultural impact this show had.

I pretty much agree with everything you said in this video. I think Big was more at fault than Carrie. I do acknowledge that Carrie was an adult she could have walked away before it got too deep and she definitely needed to work on her communication skills. Despite her poor communication and not walking away sooner, I put most of the blame on Big. He saw that she was falling for him and instead of just being a grown-up and telling her that he didn’t want to commit to her, he strung her along and played dumb whenever she would get upset. He even went as far as using his job as an excuse for driving them a part. Let’s be honest he just never had the guts to be straight up and tell her he didn’t want what she wanted. I know there’s always a lot of Carrie hate, but Big was more responsible for that relationship not working out the first time around. He does eventually fall for her, but in the beginning, he only saw her as a fling. *** Also, I know it’s immature but I wanted to throw that McDonald’s at the wall too when Big said that she shouldn’t come to Paris for him, and to not get her hopes up. I think we were all just as fed up as Carrie at that point 😡 lol

Carrie didnt listen to anything he told her. She wanted more from him that he needed to give. That church move, or should have dumped her immediately. That ish was creepy. Carrie was immensly insecure and immature here. This is where the relationship should have ended.

Carrie gets physical throughout the show and I do not appreciate that part of the show. She’s always throwing things at people, knocking back peoples hands or straight up, punching someone in the face! She is violent when she is upset. I would call her an abuser and I definitely call her toxic. If you don’t do the work on yourself and love yourself nobody’s going to love you. That was their issue. She didn’t love herself but expected everyone else to validate her when she didn’t validate her own feelings. She didn’t love herself. That is also why she gets physical!

Sorry no I disagree on the first issue.. When I start seeing someone and we’re like girlfriend/boyfriend, there’s no need to ask “are we exclusive” .. it’s so stupid. Carrie had all the right to assume, they’re both not seeing anyone else. If someone wants an open relationship or nothing serious.. that’s something that needs to be addressed early on. Exclusivity is something that I take for granted as soon as someone wants to have sex with me and date me. With Carrie&Big .. it wasn’t just a hookup between them, they’ve been seeing each other quite frequently.

I had the same bag incident happen to me. When I was in my 30s and in lust with the wrong guy, he gifted me a loud coach bag, which while expensive was just not me and was a clear sign that he didn’t know me at all but like Carrie I didn’t ay anything at the time. Wish I could get a do over ;)

Carrie made up a lot of their relationship. His actions and his words were always measured and deliberately vague. From that carrie heard and saw what she wanted to until she couldn't pretend anymore. Let's not forget Carrie broke up with Big the first time. She wanted him to beg her to stay to confess strong feelings for her. It back fired and they actually broke up even though she didn't want to, she just wanted him to change his behavior.

Big did introduce Carrie to his mother although he was angry that she showed up there. He introduced her as my friend, Carrie. She's hard to please.

I didn't watch the entire show but both Big and Carrie's relationships are obviously bound to fail. It doesn't matter if it's with each other or other people. Big has avoidant attachment style. He's very charismatic and charming in the beginning, he can make women feel good about theirselves and feel good about him. Two days later his avoidance kicks in and he gets bored. He stops calling, stops giving attention and actively flirts with multiple women to avoid commitment. What he doesn't know is that this behavior has consequences. Women eventually get tired and leave him or at least distance theirselves from him. His cheating past is caused by this too. He will always consciously or unconsciously ruin any type of relationship he has with women because his mental state needs to be fixed first. Carrie has disorganized attachment style. When you chase her, she gets suffocated. When you ignore her, she's obsessed. This is very clear if you take a look at her relationships with Aidan and Big. Aidan was a securely attached man. He was devoted, nice, committed and that scared Carrie shitless. Big, on the other hand, keeps playing the hot and cold game, leaving Carrie begging for more. When Big and Carrie are actively together, the relationship gets ruined. Big wants freedom and Carrie at the same time. Carrie wants whatever she isn't supposed to want. Her cheating on Aidan is a result of this suffocating feeling. Commitment is scary, but if you refuse to commit she's pissed about that too. Long in short, there is no point in discussing their relationships because their partners were never the problem. Natasha wasn't the problem. Aidan wasn't the problem. Big's ex wife wasn't the problem. These two are two peas in a pod and I dislike both of them.

In the end Jongwoo admitted that he and Seulki never dated after the show. And as for Jinyoung, now known as Dex in Korea, he has become one of the hottest new celebrities in the industry. He has guested on all the top variety shows and even hosting and starred on other shows. He was even awarded Blue Dragon best new male entertainer for a survival gameshow, Bloody Game 2. He is even being shipped with two top idols, Sana of Twice and Kwon Eunbi, former leader of Izone. In the end everything worked out for Jinyoung. If Seulki had chosen him he might not have acheived what he has today. He might have just been shipped with Seulki and not been taken seriously. He has worked so hard and has acheived so much and the sky's the limit.

Totally agree with you. I am SK and JY supporter but I prefer the ending that way, because it really shows that JY lives true to his words. I think the main reason why we all love JY is how he is a free spirit in this material world especially on TV shows where people will sugar coat their image and act in certain manner. But we can tell from his expression, gestures, even their last conversation about his worries about starting a relationship, it is his real voice. F#ckboy or not, at least he does not simp someone that easily in just few days lol, that is why his screen time is not cringeworthy.

Amongst many cultural differences. In the west, devotion is cringe. A lot of times, it's because there is less personal accountability in that type of dynamic. In the east, devotion is considered a positive.

It's more about where ppl are at their stage of their lives. Younger someone is, it's more about chemistry, sexual Attraction, flirting, bad boy stuff. But as people grow older and experience more situations in life, I think it's more about being stable and what is good for them emotionally and potential instead of physical attraction.

Jinyoung based on a show that I saw him in: He was on a survival show called Bloody game which I saw last year. His personality had a lot more dimensions on that show. He is very masculine in the sense he was thriving with the physical games and he had a lot of authority and sway with the contestants. He was someone who always had a upper hand in the game. The girls on the show loved him ( no surprise).This is a brutal game where they have to eliminate each other for money in the end. He came so close to the end and just because he didn't perform a game well he self eliminated even though he was not going to be voted off. This was a weird decision considering the nature of the game which was survival. It just ended up showing how much pride he had in himself that he wouldn't himself continue in the game. He was someone who was proud that he had principles in a game where you needed to manipulate players. Knowing him from this show has given me a lot of clarity with his convo with Seulki. No he was not trying to play around in that convo or have commitment issues. I can tell he wanted her to know and choose him despite his financial status. That is something clearly important to him. Someone like him who is very cautious about morals and principles would want to be clear before any kind of commitment.

Jinyoung lead that conversation asking Seulki what she was looking for in a romantic partner and even though Seulki took a flirty turn to that convo he was talking about his real life worries about his instability because of money and how he wouldn't be able to take care as he is not there in life yet. He is wanted to signal his current position and mostly that's what Seulgi took as a sign of rejection (I don't blame her). I didn't see that convo as him playing any sort of game but actually have a real life convo. It takes a lot to bring that level of realness to a frivolous dating show.

Hehehe you don't know about Asian culture that why you don't why Seul Ki choose Jong Woo but not Jin Young. Choose a hot guy over a handsome guy what your choose? Hot guy made you feel sexy and more energy when you with him. Handsome made you pretty and beauty when you with him. Hehe Jin Young can cheat on Seul Ki anytime but Jong Woo will not because he only open to Seul Ki. Will you choose a guy who will cheat on you anything time or a guy you know will never?
