I NEED a replacement on off button(knob)!😂
Mouse like eat mine bulbs....strange mises...here in Finland 🇫🇮
Funny. I wouldn’t think this would happen. I guess anything is possible
Thank you 👍🤠
I just bought the G4003, it is stamped made in June 2024. It was $5k on the dot delivered and came with some very basic tooling, a 3 and 4 jaw chuck and backplate. I wasn't prepared for how heavy it was, so had to spend another $1000 on a small gantry crane, and $500 to run a new sub panel to the garage. Then I realized the cabinet I had wasn't going to cut it, so I spent another grand on a heavy duty metal cabinet. It runs great now, but what I thought was going to be sub 5k introduction to machining is now double that with no end in sight. To get all that tooling you have, it's going to cost thousands more. In the spring I was hoping to get an equivalent mill to the lathe, but we'll see. That one might need to wait another year.
Wow. I knew the cost could add up but never thought about how much and how quickly. I hope you enjoy using it after all that., when it comes to the mill, I would try to get a Bridgeport style. Mine is the round column kind and is more difficult than it needs to be for setup and changes. Maybe one day I’ll get something different
These machines indeed are loud. I have one of them, however, with two stroke engines they’re not all like this, but some are, they need a couple of minutes. I’ve just idling to warm up. It’s actually better for them not to run full blast when they are first started. Once it’s seated up, though it will whale away.
Does the intermediate shaft cause a rattle in the steering wheel in my 2009 venza, or could it be the metric power steering damper i seen on earlier video, any way keep up the good work. Scott.
I wish I could help you. When I drove this vehicle, I could not even tell that there was a problem. The owner noticed the problem, ordered the parts and asked me to do the work. Afterwards, I still could not tell the difference. The owner could tell. I think it was early on before the problem got worse and became really noticeable
Your video helped me disassemble the lower section around the motor and gears. Some twine had gotten wrapped so tightly around the shaft that the motor could not spin the head. Was able with your help to get it back in working order. Your tip about the T-15 bit is gold.
So glad to have helped. Thanks for watching and sharing your comment.
Thanks for this. I had to replace the switch and didn't take pictures of the spring and level positions. This helped me put Humpty back together again.
The way I would fix those wandering bars is I would tap some threads on each end then spin a nut on those threads with a drop or two of thread locking compound.
Could work but would still be able to lift off. This way doesn’t move until I want it to. Thanks for your insight
The fan should fill the majority of the frame
The fan should fill the majority of the frame
I try but sometimes it’s difficult to do everything at once
I knew about the overheating thing. But, it quit on me and I had no clue why. You pointed out the clog in the hose, specifically at that angle, and that was my problem! Cleaned it out. Put the hose back on, and she fired right up. I can't thank you enough for your video here!!!
So glad it helped. Hate to have things quit working right in the middle of a task
Your awesome bro.. loved it helped me get right the first time..
Thanks. Didn’t have to test the connections. I just unplugged everything, plugged it back in and I’m good to go. 💯👍🏾
I’m here in 2024. Thank you. Only difference I hung my expansion tank from the rafters. Again thank you for the video.
I don't think this machine is 700 lbs. More like 450.
Good review. Waiting for this to go on sale to get an even better price on it!
would it be possible for you to provide a view from the bottom of the spindle? (underside of machine). Thanks!
How do I fill up my thermal expansion tank with air pressure?
Bicycle pump or any other air pump. The pressure is low so it shouldn’t take much
Also, how do i find out what the pressure of my water tank is? Do I make the pressure of the Thermal expansion tank the same as my water tank?
@arlenecruz1734 match the pressure to your water pressure unless water pressure is extremely high. Mine was around 40psi
I just measured my water pressure, and it's 80 psi. What's the best way that I can relieve this pressure before I install the thermal expansion tank?
Should I drain all of the water from my water tank? Or should I just drain some of it?
Not a sling blade and not a Kaiser blade.
Wht site did u order tht piece from
I don’t remember. I just searched for the part number. You should be able to find the information when you look up your engine part breakdown
We might as well practice with the hand file since the sling blade and the hand file use are going to be future proof.
Great help thank you!
👏👏
What is the bolt that holds that bottom cover on the spindle. Mine came loose in the brush and can’t find it yet. Guess I need to replace. Thanks man!👊
That’s been a while now. I wish I could help. Maybe you can find it in the parts diagram. You should be able to find one online
Thank you for this! I realize how simple the mechanism is after your explanations, but sure helped to see. Your demonstration of the gear mechanism got me to look at mine, and there was my problem: one side was mucked up so that the pawl wouldn't slide, and the other side was missing the pawl. Easy fixes. Thanks!
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching
Did the top of the leaf blower get really hot when you were using it like where the caution stickers are
I see Amazon has the complete recoil kit for $10. Spring, string, handle and plastics.
Thanks brother, I was having the same problem. 🙏🫡
For the compound to be on the DRO you would need another function and scale on the readout. Without a scale it has no way of measuring the travel and the readout has no place to display if it did. You can put a cheap Igaging unit on just the compound if you wish. The chinese DRO's are pretty cheap and touch screens are becoming popular. For three or four hundred dollars you could change it out and get a three function unit.
thanks ! helped alot
Hello and thank you. a heads up here. You can do this without removing the 2 screws on the lower assy . just carefully lift off top white assy. there re 2 pieces with a spring in between. Slide your cord thru the cover and into the pully. u might need something small to push cord thru to center. tie a knot and put it back together. there is a approx.1 inch diameter wrap spring that goes in between. the tang that is offset and closer to center goes down into the hole. place the upper piece on and reinstall bolt. wrap the cord back on like in this fine explanation. I was back running in 20 minutes. i have a 445 Xcut. Mechanism is the same as in this demo
Appreciate the review. Really liked the fact that you were diligent enough to solve the problem, rather than spreading bad info. 100 tp 150 feet is a LONG scoot. Just like coax cable every linear foot reduces power. Has you used a die grinder or something similar to see how the recovery is ??
I have used both a die grinder and a blow gun. Recovery is a bit slow but will get the job done
Kill switch wire on FJ180v is cRaZy. Easy like yours at the coil end - slip off, slip on -- but it's bolted to a plate near the engine: the bolt passes through an insulation block up top, and underneath it goes through a short thin copper strip bent at one end and cut into a V at the other. I shouldn't have removed that end just left it on and now I have no idea which way round the bend on the strip goes. The PDF is no help. Anyone any ideas?
I dont know what you mean. Im not worried about your video. I was paying you a compliment, but as quick as you earned that "attaboy", this "aweshit", renders it useless. sorry
After doing this it worked great! But the pull rope feeds back out while it's running. (Original problem with mine). Any ideas?
Good video but it would be great if you had shown the re-assembly.
Nice video but it must of costed u a bundle to make it with iron why not consider using wood just saying
It's still not easy sliding it together
When you consider the price per part is like 52 cents (currently selling for $119), this is just an incredible value. Maybe if you're a mechanic who uses these tools every day to making a living, maybe you'd want something better, but if you're a weekend warrior, like me, who just wants to have a good selection of tools on hand for the dozen times a year that I need them, this is an amazing value.. Or like you said, if you want to a set for the rv or boat, or in the trunk of the car or under the back seat of the truck, you really can't beat this.
Not to be critical and thanks for your video , but always wrap the teflon tape clockwise and in my experience I have found that the expansion tanks work best when installed vertical not horizontal, they tend to last longer and the water drains back from beneath the bladder .
How do I fix the front wall? It is bent from the Handel hitting it.
Pretty good deal I say.
I have a Lasko (which is the same design) I had to do this. Fan is so much better now. It basically just needed a good cleaning. Plus, there are so many more than 2 screws
Yea just got my roof replaced and fighting with my roofing company because they damaged my old school gutter guards that our metal sheet type I had since 2008, with no issues, and hoping I don’t have to go this route with new gutter guards, researching atlas since my neighbor down the street just installed his from Lowes, finding out some of the roofing companies are now going with the shur flo gutter guards , not finding out a lot of info on you tube about Shur Flo, if so there outdated reviews, wondering if you have had any experience with that product, looks similar to some of these guards ? Hoping they will reset mine , because they worked fine before and never collected leaves on them

How much the cost of repair this in a shop
I have this same motor. The cooling fan flew apart on it. So thanks for the video now I know what to do
the cable with the wires is too thick and big to put into the splicer what should i do??
I just wanted to clean out the inside of mine. This helped when I got stuck removing the yellow housing. Thank you very much.
