Sometime if you can’t get out on an adventure you need to make your own adventure at home. I know this isn’t a woodworking video, but this is the first little edit I made after I got a GoPro for Christmas. This is kikuyu grass grown in Perth, Western Australia, using mostly @lawnporn products. Filmed with a @GoPro #hero10black The mower is a @MasportLimited Olympic 500 The trimming and edging w...
Reframing a piece of art with solid walnut

This video shows how I made a new picture frame for a friend of mine. His parents gave him the painting years ago, so it has huge sentimental value for him, but the old frame was outdated and didn’t match the rest of his house. I started with rough sawn walnut to make this solid frame, with matching walnut splines to reinforce each mitred corner joint. My table saw made quick work of the front ...

Unboxing and installing the Kreg Precision Band Saw Fence on Carbatec Bandsaw BAS-350B

Want to hear the most annoying sound in the world? Listen to this blunt blade struggle at the end of the video 😫 It’s #newtooltuesday I scored a bargain on a second hand bandsaw recently, which was unfortunately missing the fence. I picked out the #kregaustralia precision band saw fence and made it fit. Now to watch all the metalworkers squirm watching a woodworker try to tap a thread 😆 😂 #shap...

Gracias!
Good design and I plan on building something similar. However, I feel the workbench is too large forcing you to stand too far away to reasonably reach for tools from the front of the bench. Especially the smaller tools on pegs.
Couldn't finish because of the music.
Maybe if you play Careless Whisper. I don’t know, whatever you fancy.
If I wanted to go to New Orleans, I would have gone to the music section.
hello?
Good demonstration, but a voice over in English would have been nice. Always wondered how the vacuum bag was removed. Now I know. Thanks from Australia.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll work on adding voiceovers in the future.
My favorite part was the end :) 🐶
Do you have a tutorial or plans for this?
Sorry, not at this stage.
It’s nice you already had a giant garage. To start with
He built this for his brother who had a normal size garage. Keep up.
Very nice.
Buy once cry once got the 9403 excellent equipment.
Do u have a cut list or messememts I want to make one for my craft
Looking good man! I subbed! 😊
This is a pretty solid little workbench. While once you figure out how it comes together, it is physically Easy to assemble ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh by yourself. But the diagrams explaining the steps are really pretty bad. I could not get the handle pins in all the way despite multiple attempts, so I just used a screw I had on hand for the 2nd handle. I could not get the first pin in further or pull it back out. You are supposed to hammer it in, but I had no leverage and the handle is plastic and I did not want to risk breaking it. I will get a lot of use out of the bench because of the convenient size and height. It does fold up nicely for storage. They even explain how to fold it so you don't get pinched...that is important!
This is so nice.
Just a tip: you should take the filter out of the shop vac and use a bag instead. Much better for your lungs, and catches way more debris.
How to build yourself a workshop: Step 1. Have a fully stocked workshop.
To be fair, I never claimed this was a "how to" video.
Nice fence pity you have to unbolt it every time you need to change blades.
I have a bandsaw that also has the blade slot coming out the front like this so I have to remove the fence when swapping out blades. On mine, I mounted the Kreg fence to the original removable front rail so that I can remove the two as a unit when changing the blade. Much better than mounting the Kreg fence rail directly to the saw.
Nice practical build. Pity there's no commentary explaining what you're doing and why.
That's a fair point. I'll work on adding a voice over in the future.
This is exactly what I need for my little shed. Is there any chance of some plans?
Sorry, no plans for this one.
Have you had any issues with anything getting snagged in the dovetails when using it as an outfeed table?
Nice design but the equipment used to construct it is wholly missing from my hobby shop - an issue for the "home" handy person.
Oh, I absolutely love this! You wouldn't happen to have some plans for it? :)
thanks for the review. What do you think about the cheaper 9400 model? How do they compare, performance wise?
That fucking music is terrible. Sorry but it turned me off the video trying to watch. It drills into your skull its so repetitive.
Nice project, well done!

I real like the song in this video that starts at 3:00 in.
Brilliant work!
Thanks Max, I appreciate the feedback.
I only had one question when watching this. Are you allergic to wood glue? I feel like rather than the 1000 pocket holes, some wood glue and Brad nails would have been much simpler and faster.
Like, God Bless!
Glad to hear you like it 👍
Nice...I need one
Awesome! I would love to have the plans for that to try to replicate
LOVE to have a cutting list..gonna try this...Beautiful job!!!
Why the pocket holes instead of just screwing those in from the back? Like half the point of pocket holes is hiding your screws and this here makes them more visible. It also seems like it would be structurally weaker this way as the screws are biting into less wood.
One of the big appeals of pocket hole joinery, for me, is the added strength when using only screws to secure a butt join. If this was made by just screwing through from the back then the screw would be running between the laminated sheets of the plywood, or straight in to the end grain if this were solid timber. Instead, the pocket hole allows the screw to enter the timber perpendicular to the grain direction, which gives the thread more purchase and is less likely to pull out of the wood. As for whether or not the screws are hidden... given that this is just a rough shop project, hiding the screws was low on my list of priorities.
I need one of these! Do you take orders😊? Love the video!
On the off chance that you're in Perth, Western Australia, I'd be more than happy to make one for you.
Putting together a shop as we speak…you just solved my clamp storage in a 60 second video.
Glad to help! I'm happy to report that the clamp rack is still holding strong after over a year of noble service.
Shaping sawdust.... funny name. Nice video. Keep them coming!
Thanks Brian, keep being awesome!
No
What was the question?
Great use of spacers.
It’s amazing what you can do with spacers if you hate measuring enough.
Awesome ⛳️☀️
Thanks Matt, glad you enjoyed it 👍
Love the drying timelapse :D
Hahaha... done that!
Shaping Grassdust? ;)
😂
I don't want a compressor but I do want an air blower 😅
just get the compressor, they’re awesome! Although I can picture you with a 2-stroke leaf blower, maniacally blowing the sawdust from your workshop.
@@ShapingSawdust I use the 18V Makita for that currently 😂

Guess this video is a general idea video? No measurements or anything.
Measure up your space and make it any size you like!
Awesome stuff mate, lovely upgrade from the old one. Those are some tight mitres from a ryobi mitre saw... good skills!
Thanks mate! It’s been a long time between drinks, but should hopefully be a little more productive this year 😆
How has the MDF top held up to the clamps? I got a set for Christmas and was wondering if I needed to remake the top of my workbench or if the MDF would hold up with the clamps routed in the top.
It's been pretty good. There are a couple of sections where the MDF has started to delaminate because I tried to clamp something to the able which had a void between the workpiece and the tabletop. In every instance where the workpiece was clamped flat to the tabletop it's been plenty strong enough.
