Love this build, and your style of teaching. Very thorough, simple and detailed. We might do a version of this with plastic and see how it fares for our Texas panhandle wind. Bet we could convert to polycarbonate panels if needed. The strapping is probably a good idea, we'll be sure to use that. Might do a spring-controlled louvered vent above the door facing east with an intake on north corner. We have dust storms from south and west to also contend with in spring/summer.

You need to be more organized to utilize your greenhouse more fully. Potatoes are an easy crop and doen't need to be in the greenhouse. Grow heat loving veggies in the greenhouse like tomatoes and peppers, and when cool again lettuce, Spinach, Kale, carrots etc. In the winter months.

Looks Great! I am in the process of building a cattle panel greenhouse, by myself also, it's only 8x10 but very similar to your design, simple and effective. I got some pointers from watching your videos. Waiting for my plastic to arrive, not looking forward to the end walls.

When it is real cold like that at night, throw a scoop of WHOLE corn in for them to eat b4 they go to roost...while digesting the corn it helps their bodies stay warm....one of the main things is to feed them b4 roosting....hope all goes well...I'm in Illinois we had negative 40 and mine did fine...no heat lamp..main thing is make sure there is no draft on them

If the rain is flooding out your greenhouse try digging very narrow channels outside around it and then a channel to drain away. And/Or control the flooding by directing the channels inside and excess back out, controlling where you want the water to go. Might be a worthwhile experiment. I love to reuse those food containers for seed starting.

will there be any dangerous gasses coming off the compost? Just wondering, because it seems like that would be dangerous if there are gasses that could build up in a small space, especially if a kid is inside for any length of time. I'm not saying there will be gasses, I don't know...but I am curious about that.

True i thought the same way , but we have had a few tornadic storms, and high winds arou d 80+ and tie downs have held pretty good . I did decided to move them and wrap them around the 2x4s instead of just anchoring the tie downs to the 2x4s. . We do enjoy the feedback thank you .
