Thinkware F70 Pro Dash Cam - Toyota 4Runner Hardwire Mirror Tap - Install & Review
My old dash cam was acting up and it was time for a new one. I decided on the F70 Pro from Thinkware. It's a 1080p dash cam with a small cylindrical form factor and clean design.
I hardwired this into my 2018 Toyota 4Runner. Instead of using a fuse tap into the fuse box, I used a mirror tap harness. Since the Thinkware F70 Pro requires 12V power, I didn't need the step down originally attached to the harness. After quickly making a custom harness with the adapter that came with the F70 Pro and the 7-Pin mirror tap harness, the install was easy and is 100% reversible in case I want to take it all off!
The F70 Pro looks clean hidden behind the 4Runner's rear view mirror and can't be seen from the driver's seat. While the Thinkware iOS app takes a bit of time to connect to the camera, it does its job. It records high quality footage as well. You can check out the F70 Pro and Thinkware's wide range of dash cams below!

Fast & DIY-Friendly - Innova 6100P OBD2 Scanner - 2018 Toyota 4Runner Test & Review
Переглядів 7407 місяців тому
This Innova 6100P might look dated, but it has all the features you can expect to find in a basic OBDII scanner, plus a few more. I like this scanner since it's simple without any frills - once you connect it to your OBD2 port, you'll be able to read codes in seconds! Clearing check engine lights was easy, and this also offers datastream capability. Although it is not packed with features and d...
ATOTO P9 Install & Review - Packed With Features! - 9" QLED Wireless Carplay HDMI!
Переглядів 3,1 тис.7 місяців тому
The ATOTO P8 On-Dash Navigator was one of the best electronic accessories I added to my 1995 Honda Civic! ATOTO recently released the P9 and it is quite the upgrade from the older unit. The P8 was already great, but the P9 adds an updated Android OS, larger 9" QLED screen, faster Wireless Carplay, and an HDMI input. Just like the P8, you can seamlessly integrate wireless Apple Carplay to any ve...

A tire service shop, gave me a quote of 1100 for all 4 after doing a tire replacement which they charge me 986.00.
A car shop wanted 369.00 each..I took it home and did it myself.
New car scent
Normally, you clean a car with a soapy water bucket and mitt, right? This thing skips the bucket, and applies enough soap. Agitate with your mitt, rinse, and dry. Done!
Oh my god, please DO NOT YANK THE TORQUE WRENCH. You’ll never get the correct torque spec if you yank on it, slowly pull on it with constant increasing force until it clicks. You can over AND under torque it by yanking.
The shortage of mechanics is real.
Electric parking brake is computer settings. Use proper techniques 😅and steps.
But the dealer says they know how to look after your toyota best?????
MaxAdvanced Brakes $368 canadian tax and shipped to the door all 4 corners on my tundra. great brakes. Just took a pair off front of wifes corolla 82000km worked great.
You should never torque to pin bolts and tighten is good 👍
Great job but you shouldn't spray the rotor. The oil on them is meant to help with the brake in period.
700 is insane, they better be using the most expensive parts and snap on tools for the job
Outstanding Bro, took it head on!!! Wish I had the knowledge...
I had a similar experience on my Camry. They had already charged 200 dollars for a brake job, and had the gall to say I needed brakes on the next visit. So I did full set of brake and rotors, including drilled and slotted on rear for the same price they were trying to charge me...Be safe out there. With driving and your wallet..
Paying a dealer to do basic service like oil or brakes is insane. Not only the price, but almost all dealers and shops are staffed with drug addicts and idiots. Invest in tools and do it yourself.
A few miles later, the brakes failed. 😮
Hey I was considering getting one of these for my civic's immo since it's not much more costly than a locksmith, you know if the other brands can be downloaded onto it for free? I don't wanna buy this and end up being locked only to Honda. Thanks
I used to work on the wifes suv. I told her to get a new mechanic when she kept bitching about things taking too long or costing too much. She didnt appreciate it, so i said fuck it.
Subaru dropped the ball BIG TIME on this car. It had so much potential if only they had gave it the MANual transmission it deserved.
It’s aluminum I wouldn’t paint it but to each their own
And you left a holograms make sure you polish after
whose drunk uncle was keying the fuck outta his car after slamming 12 beers on the golf course?
Mine lasted a month
Brake work at dealers is the biggest ripoff out there!
How drunk did they have to be to miss the key hole that bad so many times?
Try Dr. Colorchip. We use that with my company
Are you actually supposed to tourqe the caliper bolts?
Dude, you have to block the hose that connects the air intake filter, otherwise you are not building any pression and the test is irrelevant as all the smoke escapes through the path of less ressistance (the air filter box)
who owns that vehicle Edward Scissorhand? 😂 but good job on the touch up.. 👍
Save yourself all that money, as long as you have $500 with of tools to only spend $100 on parts…
i love watching people who know what they’re doing. so satisfying🤤
I just did my front rotors and brake pads cause I won't pay $700 a pop for that shyte.
Can ya change the tpms low tires values? Put heavier tires on truck and light comes on because I am running 51 lbs in new tires.
I've done this before a few times, I found meguires makes a 2000 grit sanding stone for this kind of stuff that works really well
Brakes will make noise
These brake replacement videos never cover the very important final step of the job: Burnishing the pads and rotors.
Always use jack stand! But great job! Safety 1st
I learned a valuable lesson when I changed my own brakes for the first time today …. There’s no shame in wearing gloves lol
You didn't need to remove the rotor
That's not an upgrade 😂
Would be nice to have more detailed information concerning break pad replacement
I bought a '95 Civic DX (coupe) in April 95 with 11 miles on the odo. I just lost it to a deep puddle this year.(Bent Valves,) It had 378000 + miles on the original trans mission. My favorite sound, was the engine starting. Cha cha vroom, it was a healthy D15B7. I bought a used 2016 Fit LX.
I after doing this a few times, I’ve definitely learned this is the easiest way to do it but there’s extra stuff you can do to make them better last longer and actually show why you’d pay $$$ for a brake change by a professional vs a average shop.
Just did mine. On a 2014 dodge charger. Did it all myself. The set of brake pads was only $54 and after close inspection, I decided to skip on the rotors as they had minimal rust , no warping and lots of life left. Had to buy a new C-Clamp brake cleaner And crow bar. All told, I spent maybe $112 and alittle bit of my own manpower (which is truly the most rewarding feeling if successful) Had I taken it to a mechanic, the parts would’ve been $180 And the labor would’ve been $480-$510 If you can do it yourself, do. It. Yourself. Fr Love this video.
I was running low on time before a trip, so I took my Audi A6 to a Mavis just to have the brake pads replaced. Quoted me $1,148 dollars. They also claimed that they needed to replace 4 sensors. I shook my head and laughed... and also told them that there is 1 sensor on the drivers side. He said, "that's not what the computer says". I immediately went to autzone, bought front pads for $60 and just changed them myself. The rear still had some meat left. Moral of the story is.... learn how to work on your car, your house, and your health for yourself. You'll be far happier in the long run.
Just what I thought, you’re pinoy!!😅😅
Imagine a young person totally baffled trying to figure out drum brakes!
DIY and save money on labor, at least use OE parts.
What yard please share I need parts
