Power seems a bit low - was this a 'safe' tune for the stock motor? Mk6 Stage 2+ Golf R's are running nearly the same numbers; with this turbo kit i thought you would at least 450whp... Still a pretty quick and good looking car, I plan to go TTE420 or TTE480

Where did you get that boost gauge in the left vent pod?

Doesn’t the Golf R already have an upgrade HPFP?

In the ea113 engine a better hpfp is a must those things can completely destroy your engine. I speak from experience lol

Tires, then tune. Also a GTI doesn't need an hpfp upgrade. The R needs it if going Stage 2. at least for mk6.

I seriously need help on fixing a shaking steering wheel at 50-60 but smooth at 80-100. Any suggestions would help. I've done new rims and tires all balancing options alignment I mean everything

Just confused you have described many things modified yet its 353 and maybe 3+ tq , factory was pushing 315 or so and 280 tq ! What am i missing ?? Figured with all in description you and said youd be pushing 450-500+ , and tq damn near to match !

Did you have mabo tone back the torque intentionally? Aren't stage 2+ wtq levels at like 373?

I had my first encounter with a golf R the other day. I was driving my 04 comp g gtp with moderate bolt ons (1.9 rockers, t stat, pcm, full exhaust, headers and intake) this car was behind me and the color looked unusual. We were at a stop light light and I was getting ready to merge on the highway. As the light turned green, he revved his engine behind me and I noticed the MK6 headlights along the R badge up front. He had no front bumper but a big intercooler. He probably saw my vacuum gauge cluster (previous owner installed but never finished) that was not working and assumed I was clapped out or just faking. I knew he had more power than me but I had one thing that he did not have which is instant torque. I merged on the freeway like I usually do, full throttle, as first gear is not slow but nothing to brag about. Second is the go gear in my car. From 60-90, the comp g will surprise most newer faster cars. He waited and then brake boosted and I saw him catching behind me but never enough to pull ahead. This was in traffic on a 55mph two lane highway. It was the perfect scenario for the GTP. He was chasing me but could never pass me. Every time he got full boost, he had to slow down because of traffic. I then got in the slow lane to pull off my next exit and I gave him the thumbs up while we were side by side. He pulled away angrily weaving in and out of traffic around 80-90mph. He was definitely faster and would gap me hard on an open road. However, it felt really good showing him all the positives being supercharged.

You should stick with the stock intake manifold runs much better cooler than the IE one & stock can take 500/650 all day,I’m now about to have my fully forged engine put in this week with a DQ500 RS3 DSG box I’m only running a G25-660 turbo because it suits my way of driving”street racing” so wanted something that kicks in straight away,the mods iv brought is insane,CP piston & rods polished & ported head everything underneath the car took of & been powder coated for protection,ally rear bed instead of the steel one,rear seat delete with K brace and so much more,follow me on the tube I’ll be putting some fresh vids on soon plus after the run in & map I’ll be getting GoPro out and hacking about also running meth for cooler temps and defo gotta have the CSF radiator

On my 2001 glx 1.8t beetle..I installed a Hybrid turbo..I have a serious problem.. Everytime i floor it..Rice flies out the exhaust..it literally looks like its snowing behind me..Anyone else have this problem? Lol too funny

I can’t relate to this more I got a 2 door 2012 R 🤣 I love the magical check engine light that pops on and every few days. Some days I get a Christmas tree on the dash and other days it’s perfectly fine.
