I love Ducks I don’t eat them but I watch them
Do you sell ducklings if so what are the prices
Yes in the fall, you can message me through Facebook. facebook.com/Wildlifewaterfowl/
Hi mate, I writing from England. Please how long did it take from pipping to hatching. I have Mandarins and mine took averagely around 30 hours plus from pipping to hatching. Thanks
I've had some hatch in a day and others take 3 days.
@@duckdays9451 Thanks. I just hatched some on Sunday but it took around 3 days plus and I had to intervene on all the eggs.

Good
I have some mallerds and black ducks and pintal not ducking
Hey I’ve got 4 mallard there about 6 weeks old is there ever really an age where they get used to you and stop fleeing when you enter they’re enclosure or what is your opinion ?
If you find the right treats they will calm down. Try some peas for a little bit. Also use Mazuri waterfowl food as a treat, you can throw some in the water with them and it will float for 10 minutes or so.
Awesome video! Have you had any success with your ring teal?
Mine have had 3 breeding seasons and she only laid 2 eggs with 1 hatch. Some people raise tons.
I would truly like to buy 6 green wing and 6 cinnamon eggs from you
I don't sell eggs, just birds.

Do you sell eggs and if you do what kind of price for green wings and cinnamon teal eggs
I don't sell eggs just adult birds in the fall.
Awesomeness :) Drakes are amazing their color changes... Down here its getting to midautumn so all my feathers are looking scraggly with their feather drops :) Telling duck not to go in the water... Bahhhh - Those ladies can be pretty good at dropping eggs 'elsewhere' btw, could you have hidden stashes in inconvenient places?
That's the best part of Ring teal the male keeps his color all year.
At What age started laying?
First year.
Plucking hurts coud'nt have just clipped
I have clipped wings then they can't fly until they molt which is around 8 months from when I get a duck. Pulling the feathers hurts much less than you think, and the duck can fly in a month. I usually don't do either, but some ducks don't settle down for a while and can hurt or kill themselves flying into the netting. I had a Wood duck that almost died hitting the netting that was in the aviary for a week, I clipped him after that.
What are the dimensions to all of your nest boxes?
I love that idea for a makeshift wet brooder with the constantly running water.
The running water definitely helps, I no longer loose Wood duck chicks.
What is the vegetation covering most of the floor? my ducks keep my ground bare.
It's just leafy weeds. I plant grass occasionally but the brood leaf takes over. The pen is shaded a lot that mite be why it grows so well.
Poor fox. He's not going to eat because a bimbo intervened!
what type of heaters do you use to keep the water from freezing, and how many gallons in recommended for the type of heater?
I usually use a 1000 watt in my 500 gallon pool, lately I have a 1500 watt to replace the last one that died. They typically last at least 2 years. this is the brand I use. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002QXN1GY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
The big pool is over 1500 gallons and only uses the green house with no heater.
Arghhhh! this happened to with a smaller version I made... Thinking of creating pillars with brackets either side to reinforce centers when I get round to rebuild...
Wonderful encloure, would like to make one that size for when I get out even further (lots of birds of preyt down here)
Ducks are awesome sauce!! 😂🦆
Do you sell your ducks babies?
Only adult ducks around 2 to 3 months old.
The man was like:SWIPER NO SWIPING MY DUCKS
And also had a question can the hoodies be with the woody or why are they separated?
I had a pair of Hoodeds in the other pen for a few years, the only issue I had was last year when my male had no mate during breeding season and he cross bread with a hen wood duck and I had 5 hybrids. I also had the Buffleheads in that pen for a couple years. I'm keeping one pen just for divers.
I own a pair of mandarin ducks and I’m planing on getting some more ducks like you but what do I look for when ducks are looking to lay eggs?
The hens will start to get a bulge between her legs towards her vent when she starts getting eggs. She will also start checking out the boxes. Mandarins use a Wood duck box.
Don't know if you've tried peel and stick mineralized roof underlayment before, but we've used it on a couple of our large bird boxes, and one shed. Needs to be nailed or stapled down so it doesn't lift over time, but it's kept the wood from rotting, easy enough to hose off the droppings too
The coop and the outside brooder both have ice and water for a roof, I had extra from doing a couple roofs. I was going to do the boxes, but I ran out and I was thinking it may be too much heat with a black roof in the sun. It's already 90+ degrees out when my teal are nesting. I see other peoples boxes with it though.
