Trust me guys, ever since this was open. It's a schindler 5500 because I can tell by the indicator, buttons, and chimes.

The elevator was installed in 2010!

The top dryer did horrible because the fans are close to the sides. There are two flexible hoses connecting to the top piece. Thats why the windshield did terrible. There may possibly only be one fan. That is one weird dryer system. The machine is pretty nice.

Glad to see that I’m not the only elevator fan out there. I live in moline too.

I remember the Sears/Wards elevator the most. That was the one that we used almost every time, followed by JC Pennys and than this one. I see they really overhauled this one. It was either this one or the Berginers. I know the original cab gates were painted, and I'm sure they didn't cascade either (this is what they call a 2-speed cascading door system). I'm also pretty sure the original elevator here had black round buttons with lighted rings around the edges.

I'm pretty sure that was originally a Dover elevator and the buttons were all square if I remember correctly. The original store was Montgomery Ward and the foyer gates were originally painted gray. I see it still has the original woodgrain cab gates and interior. I have nostalgic childhood memories of going there. I miss those days.

I remember Pocket Change Park and McDonald's at NorthPark!

Those are Schindler 3300s.

I go to NorthPark Mall sometimes. Really like it. Remember The Disney Store and Pocket Change Park from my younger years. Just wish now Younkers and Sears were filled with something new.

Food court to this mall reminds me of the food court at East Towne Mall in Madison, Wisconsin. I visited that location myself. Coincidentally, that food court (East Towne Mall in Madison, Wisconsin) is also near a Barnes and Noble bookstore. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
