Wij zijn Verkeer & Meer. De opvolger van het Verkeerseducatiepunt van de Vervoerregio Amsterdam. Achter Verkeer & Meer staan gedreven professionals. Samen met gemeenten, scholen en vele anderen werken we aan het verhogen van de verkeersveiligheid in onze regio. We ontzorgen en inspireren met effectieve verkeerseducatie, campagnes en voorlichtingsactiviteiten.
Verkeer & Meer is er voor alle gemeenten en scholen binnen de Vervoerregio Amsterdam. Dit zijn de gemeenten Aalsmeer, Amstelveen, Amsterdam, Beemster, Diemen, Edam-Volendam, Haarlemmermeer, Landsmeer, Oostzaan, Ouder-Amstel, Purmerend, Uithoorn, Waterland, Wormerland en Zaanstad.

Nieuwe busbaan Aalsmeer - Schiphol-Zuid in gebruik
Op 12 december 2021 is de nieuwe busbaan HOVASZ (Hoogwaardig Openbaar Vervoer Aalsmeer Schiphol-Zuid) tussen Aalsmeer en Schiphol-Zuid officieel in gebruik genomen. Door de geldende coronamaatregelen is een fysiek bedankje en openingsmoment niet mogelijk. in plaats daarvan is een filmpje gemaakt waar de bestuurders van de betrokken overheden spreken over het openstellen van de busbaan en de naastgelegen weg en fietspad van het project HOVASZ.

Op vrijdag 26 juni gaven de bestuurders van de gemeenten Aalsmeer, Haarlemmermeer, Uithoorn, Vervoerregio Amsterdam en provincie Noord-Holland het startsein voor de werkzaamheden van het project HOVASZ. Dit staat voor Hoogwaardig Openbaar Vervoer Aalsmeer Schiphol-Zuid. Vanwege de COVID-19 maatregelen gebeurde dit digitaal met een filmpje.
Social Detectives. Verkeerseducatie voor het voortgezet onderwijs

Er heeft een verkeersongeval plaatsgevonden. Maar wat is er precies gebeurd? Met het programma Social Detectives gaan leerlingen van het voortgezet onderwijs (VMBO/HAVO) actief aan de slag met het thema verkeersveiligheid. Als een waar onderzoeksteam reconstrueren ze het ongeval, analyseren het en gaan na hoe het ongeval voorkomen had kunnen worden. Wat zou jij doen?

What they don't tell you is how well planned bicycle (no car) routes are planned. Also, you can ride year round, even in the snow because they plow bicycle routes cleanly in the winter. There is a video on youtube about year round bicycling in Amsterdam.
I use my bicycle in Marrakech city, I drive between cars, it's insanly dangerous but I do it anyway.. I wish I can live an a city like Amsterdam

the netherlands is a very diverse nation, or as we would say in dutch een multiculturele samenleving. about 1/4 of the nation isnt dutch, with alot of people being from surinam, indonesia, turkey and morroco

Eh, this is an application accessible across the Netherlands. Seriously, it is used to plan what is needed to cycle more often. I did find roads in area I live to plan less well travelled to plan more Covid-19 free route. Even that is useful...
