Guys I am sorry I was unable to do this live on the video but that thing took me at least an hour just to get off due to the previous install. If you have any questions put them in the comments. Thanks

How to video on removing and installing a rear blower motor on a 2004 Honda Pilot.
You could have got one for about 35 bucks from Rock Auto.
You are a badass! Thank you for the video, and I give you all the credit for helping all of us!
Thank you very much!
Also how do I know the resistor is bad and no the motor?? Thank you so much I can hug you
Hello! How do I find out which part is good for my 2003 honda pilot?
Anyone have the part#? Thanks!
Thanks!!!! Much appreciate it!!!!
Awesome.
I know this is an old video but thank you!! I learned tons your the best ❤😊
Thank you so much you saved me hundreds doing it my self with aftermarket parts. You are the best
Thank you for doing this video
Well done
Thank you for posting this and for detailing the socket / screwdriver options I'd need to do this repair. It took a bit of searching to find this as there are lots of videos on how to replace the resistor, lots on different ways to change out the front blower, but hardly any for how to swap out the rear blower motor. I went to a wreckers this morning, pulled out the front and rear blower motors from a 2003 Pilot (pulled the resistor as well just in case) and put them in to my 2007 Pilot. For much less than the price of a new single blower, both of mine now run silent and push a ton more air.
Thanks Fury. Remind hubby how fortunate he is to have a wife who's inclined to fix things and help others to learn. God bless.
My second cousin wants to send you flowers….. it took us five minutes. Garage thief told him $1400 to replace. Amazon $41 for motor and we replaced transistor to be safe as well $11 He said it works better than when he first acquired the car. Send address for your flowers. ❤️
You are amazing! Can I ask you a question? Our 2007 Honda Pilot, the air conditioner blows hard only if you hit the fan box that is just below the passenger seat, Should I change the front blower motor too?
Thank you so much! Appreciate you!
Advance Auto or Napa are aftermarket made by Dorman. These are not genuine Honda parts.
Thank you !
Worked just as you said thanks!
ia the front blower the same as the rear one? cause i cant find the rear one only show the front
The video is for the rear blower motor. The front one is actually under your glove box.
On the REAR blower motor make sure they are the exact same the replacement as the oem. I purchased a well running brand new one off Amazon for $50 and it’s about a 1/2 taller so the rear blower motor COVER doesn’t fit back over the new blower. Don’t think it’s an issue but if that’s bother some to all. I’d go OEM brand OR FourSeasons brand they are more expensive but are perfect fit.
T27 torx lol
So you access it from the side in front under console not from rear?
Yes. You access it from the passenger side in front.
You're a Rockstar for making this video! Appreciate you looking out for every one and documenting how to replace the rear blower motor.
Worked like a charm for my 2007 pilot. Thank you so much.
Thank you!! 😘
Good video just changed the resistor on my 2005 pilot think im going to change the motor next beacuse the rear works but is weak
Changing the oil on a 2009 Honda pilot
Great video. Good tip about checking the resistor. AND thanks for showing the part #. Good Job.
Thanks for posting that part number! There's a ton of info about the main blower motor (under the dash) but not so much on this one.
Nice job.. Saved yourself a nice little chunk o' change there and you're a better mechanic than you think. Thanks for posting mom!!
does anyone know if this intake hose is also compatible with acura mdx 2007
Awesome video! Thanks for posting.
I can never be accused of being handy; but i just pulled this off on a 2005 Honda Pilot in less than 5 minutes. Thanks for the instructions and what is your Venmo handle; would love to buy you a beer.
Omg! That looks so easy! We’ve had our Pilot for 12 years and I never knew thus had to be changed! 😱 . I’m hoping someone has changed it but going to check right now!
Thank you so much you are very smart woman. This video helped me a lot.
See that little candy cane shaped hose on the back side of the air filter intake tube. Someone before me put a stick in that little tube should I pull it out? Is there supposed to be a plug in it? I am thinking that is why they put a stick in it.
Thank you very much for that video. It was well done, and very informative!
Thank you! I took out our blower motor that was screaching and cleaned it and lubed it and now it works great! Mechanic said it would be a $1500 bill to replace a compressor that was making the noise when it was the blower the whole time.
Just got my old rear blower fan removed. You made it easy to do with your step by step instructions. Thank you!!!
Wow, up to an '09'.
Not a mechanic here either. I just pretend...
Been busy tuning up my 05 pilot. Haven't checked mine. But I sure will. Might have to replace my front fan. Not enough power pushing air. Great job 👏 thanks.
Impressive, young lady! Thank you!
Thank you, awesome video, I'm actually about to do mines today 11-29-2020, very informative
Nice video
Thank you that was very helpful.
Thank you for posting this!
Great video! I think I have the same issue where the pipe is pushed in too far and I can't get it out. Unfortunately in your video we don't see how far we are supposed to push the new on in. I assume just before it goes past the lip?
Ok figured it out :) There is a inner lip you need to pass though first then stop.
