Mostly silent viewer! I don't know if I've ever commented on your videos before but i felt like maybe i should! I had a really shitty day, been a shitty few months honestly, but I get to come home and turn on one of your videos and it doesn't matter what video you post, it always helps me come back down to earth. So I thought I should say thank you! I feel like I've been taking you for granted! How lucky am I to be in Canada, and get to come home from a shit day and just get to hang out with some sweet Dutch girl. The world is awful, but I think you're really great and I'm grateful for you and I thank you for posting during the days when you too feel like shit. Lol this is why I don't comment. It probably doesn't make sense or come across how I want it to! Life sometimes sucks and feels too overwhelming. But it's also great in these small moments where we can just connect on a human level and just enjoy each other's company. Mkay, that was lame. Lol, but I like and appreciate you 😅😂❤

I'm not sure if you've done this before but maybe you could make a video telling us some random or cool words in Dutch, specifically those that sound as though they probably would give people 'the tingles.' Or, as I'm a music fan, maybe you could read aloud lyrics to some great Dutch songs and tell us what they mean in English as you go along.

As I’m watching this vid I just wanna encourage you with maybe an alluring truth I believe if you’re open to it or anyone in the comments. If there is a sense of purposeless or hopelessness there is always a better way beyond us and I’ve found it to be in God, the God of the gospel. Maybe the idea of God existing isn’t appealing but He’s there if anyone ever finds the need for Him.

when you said that someone in the world is dreaming about the life that your living right now, really hit me because, in my case i tend to get very frustrated with future goals and always longing for more in a way, feeling like its not enough and taking the things that i do have for granted, which sucks, so i think this video really helped me understand that, not everyone needs to be having the same experiences right away, and everyone it´s on their own path and that is also okay :)

i swear 2024 was the craziest year

I feel like I need a slow but heavy detox into 2025. I need to become less cluttered. I'd also very much like to write more and get more work in print, as well as get some more reading done and spending more quality time with friends. I also have a little bit of travel/separation-related anxiety so if I can work on that too somehow... fantastic.

I also want to do more yoga and read more books in the new year than I did this year! and I want to consciously carve out more time for art projects, I didn't have the energy to do much of that this year. (unrelated to this vid but I also just caught up on your asmr life updates video and I'm actually going through a similar thing of coming to an end of a pretty difficult on and off situation with someone that I'm trying not to judge myself for still being upset about, would have a girl talk with u if I could! I guess a goal for the new year is be more careful about who I put energy into lol)

I never knew you had a second channel! Glad this popped up in my recommended! You could maybe pour warm water in the candle to help the wax melt? If the jar is glass I wouldn't put boiling water in it just in case it shatters. Also if its glass when you pour the warm water make sure its not on a cold counter top, maybe place it on a cutting board or towel just to seperate the bottom from the cooler surface to also prevent it from cracking. Or you could pop the jar in the freezer overnight and use a butter knife to get the wax out at the bottom since it should shrink a bit and not be stuck to the sides. Usually, they pop right out for me. I do this with candle jars I'd like to reuse. Hope this helps! Edit: Just thought of this but definitely don't pot in in the microwave since wicks tend to have a metal bottom 😊

The candle could probably be placed in a disposable container and hot water poured in, the wax will melt and float to the surface leaving the crystals at the bottom. Unless the crystals are water soluble, then don't try this.
