Yelling at umpires is one thing, but I wasn't a fan of when McEnroe berated line judges. They just had to stand there and take it without being able to say anything. As good of a tennis commentator that he is, he is still tainted in my mind because of his past antics. Whether he was right or wrong on a call, it doesn't excuse trying to humiliate those that are not allowed to defend themselves.

Honestly from Lendl's body language plus the angle of the replay, the ball was clearly out by about 3 centimeters and McEnroe had every reason to complain, just not swear at the head judge. The players are experts on determining calls to a millimeter, so I'd side with McEnroe this time. The head judge should have overruled the line judge and called this ball out.

To me it's not one of the most famous outbursts. There was an episode in Wimbledon where he just dismissed a linesman with the words; "Baldie, baldie, balkdie". Thing is McEnroe should be stripped of all his titles because he was a drug cheat. Even his ex-wife said it in her biography; he was on steroids and suffered from 'roid rage.
